I’m back teaching my Monday night class at Yoga Together Lincoln. The new semester is on a roll at UNL Recreation & Wellness Center where I’m teaching Tone and Flow on Tuesdays and TRX Yoga on Thursdays. At Cooper YMCA I’ll be starting the next six-weeks of my Beginner’s Yoga series on Mondays and TRX Yoga on Wednesdays. And I’ve still got my all-levels fun Fridays flow class from 9:30-10:30am.

Susy started practicing prenatal yoga almost 20 years ago when expecting her first child. She started practicing vinyasa yoga after the birth of her second child and reaped the benefits on her mat after the birth of her twins. Susy was certified in 200hr YTT and started teaching in 2016. In 2018, she added a TRX Yoga certification. She is also certified in trauma informed yoga and prefers to teach in a very hands-off manner. Her classes incorporate a good balance of strength and stretch, leaving students feeling both challenged and nurtured. Her goal is to create space for others to discover the power of their true selves.

Each session will include breath work, breakdown of poses, flow, and restorative rest. We want to give you the foundation and tools to join any yoga class feeling comfortable and confident.”

TRX Forearm stand
Start on hands and knees, facing away from the anchor. Place the top of one foot into the cradles. Plant your forearms, using a strap and/or block, as in the previous reel. Lift your knees and straighten your opposite leg, as in dolphin pose. Flex your foot into the handles and straighten the knee. Press your foot down into the straps and use your core to pull your hips above your shoulders. Lift the opposite foot off the floor and tuck your knee to your chest or lift your leg up toward the ceiling. Try to control your reverse back to starting position.
