Your annual reminder for 4th of July!

No one ever expects their pet get lost, until it happens to them.

Prepare ahead of time:

1) We can refill any necessary anxiety medicine TODAY. Call 402-785-1025

2) collars WITH tags are a must

3) take dogs outside on a leash every single time, even if your yard is fenced

4) create a calm, safe space inside your home for any pets who are fearful of the noise

T…T…T…Ticks! And Fleas! And don’t forget about Mosquitos!

We have seen a few dogs with ticks. If you haven’t started preventative medicine, it’s time. We carry products that help.

Simparica Trio, Bravecto, Interceptor and ProHeart Injection.

Simparica Trio is a simple all in one. It’s a monthly chewable flea, tick and heartworm preventative.

Bravecto is a chewable flea and tick preventative that lasts for 3 months.

Interceptor is a monthly flavored tab for heartworm prevention. We recommend pairing it with Bravecto.

ProHeart Injection is a 6 or 12 month heartworm preventative. Our vets/techs administer this one. We recommend pairing it with Bravecto.

Hillcrest Animal Clinic has 2 part-time job openings. Great job for college students!

We are looking for a hard working individual with horse experience. Duties include: Feeding, cleaning stalls, turning horses, cleaning kennels, walking dogs, office cleaning and so much more. Weekends are required.

Do NOT take Branched Oak Rd from Hwy 77.
We’ve found the best option is from Waverly Rd turn North onto 84th, then turn Right onto Branched Oak Rd to the clinic.

Monday 1/15 8:40a: Branched Oak Rd is open!!!

Hillcrest will be OPEN on Monday, January 15th!

Most gravel roads are still drifted closed and impassable. As of now, you’ll need to follow these exact driving directions to get to Hillcrest……

From Hwy 77, turn East onto Raymond Rd (which is 1 mile south of Branched Oak Rd), turn North onto 84th, then East on Branched Oak Rd to the clinic.

Feel free to call the office at 402-785-1025 to get updated roads conditions.

We hate the snow and freezing cold temps, but love spending this time snuggling our pets. Show us some pics of you and your pets riding out the blizzard!

❄️Wednesday Morning 1/10/24 … Roads Update
Gravel roads have not been cleared yet, because of this only high profile 4x4 vehicles are recommended.
We’ve found the best route is from Waverly Road, TAKING 84th to Branched Oak Rd.

Traveling to Hillcrest is not recommended today. People are getting stuck on the gravel roads. We are closing at 1:00pm. Stay safe!

Road Closed…..
We would like to let you know that Branched Oak Rd is closed from Highway 77 for the first mile block. We do not know how long this closure will be unfortunately. You can still get to our clinic from Raymond Rd or Davey Rd then you can turn back onto 84th St to take you back to Branched Oak Rd. You can also get to the clinic via Waverly Rd and turning onto 98th St and then onto Branched Oak Rd. If you have any questions or get lost on your way here please call us at 402-785-1025 and we can happily navigate you to the clinic. Thank you for your paitence as we wait for them to open the road again soon!
