If you’re looking for something to do this fall, look no further! I’ll be holding an earring making class for all ages! (Although 10 years and above is preferred 😊) You will have the choice of different types of earrings, colors, and designs for your pair! Prices will vary from $30-$35 depending on what design you choose. There will be snacks provided while we wait for the earrings to bake, and feel free to bring your own beverage! We are just about a week away from our first meeting as a Radicle Roots group and we are going to kick it off with Art in a Sunflower Field. We will meet at the farm at 10am. Feel free to bring a picnic lunch for after our activities conclude around 11:30am.

And in case you are new to our page or just hearing the name Radicle Roots for the first time, we have included some information about the teachers and the program. Does this mean you have you have to be a homeschool family to join us? Not at all, but if you are we will provide you with lesson summaries and extensions at each meeting to add to your portfolio and hopefully help you cross some things off your to do list for the week!

We had a great ending to our Radicle Roots Kick-Off Camp this week.Serena's Clever Critters came in and taught the kids lines of sunflowers. We can't wait to see some of the same faces, and hopefully some new ones, when we start up on school year program this September. More information will be shared here and on our website soon! Thank you to all that came out and filled The Studio with such talent and the eagerness to learn and get to know each other better!

Another wonderful day with our Radicle Roots Kick-off camp! Today the kids reviewed what you do with an idea and finished up their tote bags. Miss Renee then had a fun relay race with Eggs and had the kids do an art critique. They were all great about coming up and sharing what they liked best about the artwork that they did. It was so wonderful to see the encouragement of clapping for each and every student. We ended our day learning about warm and cool colors and painting pots to grow our ideas in. We will conclude our camp tomorrow with a lovely lesson from Serena.

And I was extremely excited to take a trip to the sunflower field we are having our field trip to on our first day of our school year program.

Amazing first day at camp learning about what to do with an idea. We read a fantastic book, followed by a science experiment and then decorated our own bags to “carry our ideas” in. We also learned that even though our ideas might take longer to bring to life than others, and we may need a little help along the way…that one day that idea will explode and change the world around us! Can’t wait for day 2!!!!

We are so excited to have Michelle, from Third Time's A Charm, back tonight for our August Music and Makers' Market! She has some new items she is planning to debut, but here are a few of the cute boxes she makes. They are perfect on display, to throw in your purse or for travel purposes.

Next up we have Mimi's Watercolors. Lynn represents her mother at shows. Here is a bit about Mimi's work.

Mimi does original paintings, note cards, and bookmarks. She also sells printed items from her paintings. She lives in Lititz. She is 83 years old and still paints everyday.

Come check her out tonight from 5-8:30pm during our Music and Maker's event in the courtyard. Great music and lots of shops and makers to peruse!

We had so much fun today as we explored a new way to paint with watercolor! We had perfect weather and some of the sweetest artist in the village today. We shared lots of fun and lots of laughs and everyone walked out with a big smile on their face, and some with splattered paint as well 😊

My name is Karina Scheren and I own L Squared Permanent Jewelry. I started my small business about 2.5 years ago & offer custom-fit jewelry that is welded on through a quick and painless process. Since it’s welded on, it won’t have a clasp and will “permanently” stay on (until you decide to remove it by cutting through the links)! I have a large selection of 14k gold filled & sterling silver chains and charms.
