Hi Terahdactyl fam! I wanted to update you guys on life recently and let you know that I’ll be on medical leave for a few weeks. You’re probably wondering why these small, seemingly insignificant items (that are not related to candles at all) are popping up on your feed. But to me, they are only a handful of items that represent all the love I’ve been given as a business owner in the past year. This bug spray was given to me because a customer saw I was getting severely bitten by fire ants at a vendor event (I was placed right on top of an anthill 🙃), so they left the event, ran to walmart, and came back with a can of bug spray for me. Saved my feet in a big way. The dog treats were gifted to me by a customer who saw I had my 8 week old puppy with me. I was completely taken by surprise when they came back and gave me those treats for Matcha - they’re also the only treats Matcha will eat (I think because they’re soft) and they’ve saved my sanity with potty training.
My customers are not just my customers - they’re my friends and my community. They’re the reason why I’m able to support myself after moving to a state where I knew nobody and was crazy enough to try to start a business instead of getting another healthcare job. To everyone who has helped me and loved on me, even when I was just a complete stranger selling candles, thank you 🤍

There are no words to describe how devastating the loss of Jess Wilkins is. The world will never be the same without him. Jess was my climbing buddy, fellow dog lover, one of my first friends in Arkansas, and all around his contagious energy made the world a better place. Even when it was freezing or rainy, you could always find him at markets with a smile on his face and a joke to crack. Jess was always with his faithful companion, Ty, and even on the worst of days the pair would never fail to make you smile.
Jess, you are missed so deeply. There are no adequate words to describe the tragic loss of a friend like you. Thank you for the incredible mark you’ve left on the world. Fly high Jess 💔
