This was his first time walking in 8 months. When I asked him what was the first thing he was going to do I wasn’t expecting his answer. Every visit he mentioned all the things he was missing out with grandkids. I thought he would tell me something pertaining to them.

We had such an awesome time today participating in River Cities Dragon boat festival, benefiting the Children Protection Center. We had an awesome team with Baptist rehab North although we didn’t win we had a great time. Can’t wait till next year!

May 19th - 25th is National EMS Week. This week is a time to acknowledge and thank EMTs and Paramedics for their lifesaving work. We wanted to take a moment to recognize our very own Kandice Mitchell, LPOA, NREMT-P. Kandice has been a paramedic for 11 years and we are very thankful to have her and her experience on our team!

We had our annual Cinco de Mayo cheese dip competition. Chris Horton won first place. We had a total of five entries. Congratulations Chris!

A busy Friday in the office today but we wouldn’t have it any other way!

Today we had the opportunity of sharing prosthetics and orthotics with students at a sports medicine conference. Mike, Ryan, and Josh did a great job answering questions and explaining our field.

We were welcomed into the Jonesboro community yesterday with a ribbon cutting and an open house. We love this community and everything it has to offer! We look forward to serving our patients and referrals in this area. Scheduling appointments now, 870-641-0444.

Rockefeller Cancer Institute, division chief of Breast Imaging, and director of the UAMS Breast Center and Mobile Mammography Program. She is also the director of the UAMS Breast Imaging Fellowship Program.
