This is a touching moment from a recent Hearing the Call humanitarian trip. A worried father watches his wife, son, and daughter — all three with severe hearing loss — get their hearing tested. Our volunteers were able to fit all three, at the same time, with hearing aids. It will be a major adjustment for the family of four, who are used to communicating with sign language. It is the nonprofit’s hope that they return to a future clinic for follow-up, and device adjustments.

Dear Friends,

Such a delightful day celebrating the diligent efforts invested in the Camden clinic. South Arkansas remains close to my husband and me, having been raised in Magnolia. A call from Peggy Abbott of OCMC nine years ago, highlighting the need for hearing healthcare in the community, set us on a fulfilling journey of service in south Arkansas.

The increasing demand for audiology services prompted a need for more space, which was creatively met by my architect husband. His passion for revitalizing spaces, combined with the needs of Pinnacle Hearing, led to the transformation of 675 California into a vibrant audiology clinic. This building now stands as a testament to the values of commitment, hope, and dedication, mirroring the spirit of south Arkansas.

We extend our gratitude to the south Arkansas community for the opportunity to contribute to a place that holds such significance in our hearts. We eagerly anticipate meeting your hearing healthcare needs. For appointments, please contact us at 870-837-2823.
