* for my mama, who finally realized she could lay down her cross and walk through the gates that had been there all along ✨
From last night’s Writing from the Soul workshop. We use other art forms like drawing and then see where the writing takes us.
We have 1 spot left in next week’s class. New workshops every Monday 😊

Regret
Winter, and the sky
fills with unspoken words.
No matter what I tell myself
or how busy I become
all it takes is a north wind to blow in
and forgetting turns to remembering.
Now the cold crystallizes them as they fall,
and against my will and everything I want
suddenly you’re the moon,
the silence,
my breath on the windowpane
as my forehead rests on the cold glass—
snow gathering softly
on branches
under a starry
sky
~PM
“Rooted in earth, reaching for stars.”
What’s your 6-word memoir?
Meet me in this moment,
wide-eyed and full of wonder—
not in the cold, thin air
on lofty mountaintops,
but in the warm, fertile soil
in the shadows
of trees.
~PM
Some days
all it takes is a ray of sunlight
slipping through the window shade
to brighten
the whole room.

Sacred Flow Healing Sessions
🌹❤️🌹
Sacred Flow Healing is a gentle, spiritual, holistic approach to healing body, mind and spirit. I unite subtle and powerful energy healing with the sacred flow of universal love. Along with touchless spiritually-guided sacred energy work (I work just above the surface of the client’s physical body), I may use stones, plants, crystals, sounds, healing waters, journeying, music and more in a nurturing way to help you transform what you are ready to and tap into your own natural healing. You will be fully supported and held in love.
In person at my home in Little Rock, Arkansas in my private healing room.
For more information visit sacredflowarts.com
60 minutes: The energetic exchange is $70 suggested donation.
Traditional Reiki sessions also offered.

Late fall
and I feel like I’m falling
like the leaves outside my window,
preparing
yet again
for
winter
~PM
I wake with today in one hand,
tomorrow in the other.
Gratitude balancing the two.
A deep knowing
to not let today slip away unlived
or tomorrow undreamed.
To remember that everything is happening
to bring me closer to my Self, to God.
To relax, to breathe, to stand tall, to lean.
To live fully
this one and only beautiful life
I've been given
with you.
~PM
Sometimes I wonder what it will be like
when I’m released like a bird from a cage,
returned to the stars.
When all that’s left is my memory
and the poems I gently planted
in your heart.
To return with feathers and wings
and sing outside your window,
whisper your name in the breeze,
visit you under the silver moon
in your dreams.
To be remembered
in quiet and tender
ways.
~PM
Maybe
everything meant for us
we’ve ever lost
comes back to us
again and again and again
until we finally
allow it
to stay.
~PM
footprints on a sandy riverbank,
kindness in a stranger’s eyes,
the distant song of a bird
waking the sun—
feeling without touching,
rain in an open palm,
beautiful attachments
by not attaching
at all
~PM
Such sadness.
A deep empty longing for more, more.
Not realizing that what we think we’ve lost
is actually right here in front of us
if we only had eyes to see.
That what is here now
is exactly what is meant to be here now
and more than enough. More, more.
Not knowing that
if we could just soften our shoulders
and open our eyes
we’d see the promised land,
our own reflection.
God.
~PM
Morning,
and our love rises like the sun
over sandstone canyons,
setting the whole day
ablaze.
☀️PM
With time I’ve grown to understand
the beauty of softening, of flow—
spring snow melting down
a mountainside,
resting in
shallow
pools.

They say water has memory.
I wonder— like me has it memorized
every constellation on your back,
each hidden hollow between your toes,
the sound of you breathing
as you sleep?
Maybe it’s the water in me
that doesn’t know how to forget,
that wants nothing more
than to drown in each moment
I am given
with you.
~PM
The last of the doors has opened
and I feel you here with me,
your hand intertwined with mine,
both of us complete and incomplete
and broken and whole
as we stand as one
at the center of infinity
and gently touch
stars.
♾️PM
The poet in you
speaks to the poet in me.
And so I offer you all I am—
poem by poem,
touch by touch,
I give who I am
to who you are
one fingerprint
at a time.
~PM
You are
the one I let see
the parts of me
that shimmer
underwater.
~PM
For each other
we will light the night sky,
illuminate the paths
that lead us home,
like a moon suspended
among stars,
balanced between fall
and escape.
~PM
My favorite color?
The beginning of a sunrise,
the end of a sunset.
An October sky.
Today.
~PM
Come lie down with me as children
under a sky full of shooting stars,
before the world told us who
we can and can’t be.
And we’ll hold hands and giggle
as our souls take flight
and our bodies remain behind—
together remembering what it feels like
to blaze across the midnight sky
and forget
our own
names
~PM
I lean in,
allow myself to fall.
Find myself in your gravity
like the milky moon,
suspended in the deepest blue.
A thousand deaths,
a thousand and one rebirths.
~PM
I want to spend the rest of my life
getting lost with you—
finding ourselves in uncharted territory,
stumbling upon a thousand
beautiful things.
Discovering
and rediscovering each other
again and again
and again.
