New business cards for yours truly!
Looking good, .lr 🪴🌞
Throwback to early 2020 with this logo I created for the East Village Jam. Unfortch, COVID had other plans and this one never saw the light of day, so I’m letting it live here. 🎸
Super fun brand development for
Brand development for ! Nikki’s interiors are a reflection of the architectural touchstone “form follows function” and her branding needed to do the same. We created a comprehensive suite of brand collateral that is as functional as it is beautiful.
Eek, the day has finally come! 😆 I’m so excited to announce that our newly designed website by the incredibly talented Rosemary Hallmark Creative is LIVE! 💌 We are in loveee with how the site turned out, and we hope you are, too! Tap here: https://www.synergeticsocial.com/ to see it for yourself! 😉
2023 was my biggest year to date for a lot of reasons, including an exciting anniversary and FINALLY launching my own newly redesigned website. 🥳 So I decided it would be fun to look back at the numbers. Cheers to another year on the books! I’m looking forward to what 2024 brings. 🥂
I’d like to take a moment to formally introduce my right hand man. Cosy is the one barking while we’re on a phone call, dropping her ball in my lap when I’m trying to have a Zoom meeting, and pretending like she needs to go outside every hour to lure me from my desk. The rest of the day is spent not knowing how dog beds work. She’s useless. I’m promoting her.
Guys, I’m so excited because today I’m dropping New Website (Rosemary’s Version)!
The thing about being a website designer is that your website always comes second to the websites you are designing for clients. I confidently told Sarah Oden Photographer when she was taking photos and videos for this project last October that my new site would launch January 2023. 🙃 Lol.
This website is a labor of love for many reasons, but top among them being that I was excited to implement so many new techniques I learned from Squarestylist's Standout Squarespace course. Squarespace launched an entirely new design platform last year that opened up a world of possibilities for what we can create, but Rache’s incredible coding course took those possibilities and multiplied them exponentially. I’ve learned so much and I’m still learning new things every day. I can’t say enough good things about Standout Squarespace.

🥳 10 YEARS! 🥳
This month marks 10 years since I went full-time with this little business of mine.
Business ownership has its challenges, but it also has its rewards. And every day, I count myself lucky for the opportunity to reap them. I’ve been able to work with some of the coolest people supporting small, local, and women-owned businesses. Ten years and 150+ brands and websites later, I still get to wake up every day and do what I love.
A huge thank you to all my friends, family, and clients who have listened, supported, and offered feedback over the years. Special shout outs to my husband Aaron for pushing me to bet on myself, my design assistant for picking up my slack and keeping me on task, for revolutionizing the way I do business, for her mentorship as this old dog learns some new tricks, and all the clients I don’t have room to list but am deeply grateful for.
Here’s to the next ten years 🥂🎂
I love working with creative people, and Jeannie from is exactly my breed of weird. It’s been years since we worked collaboratively to create the ZigZag brand but it remains one of my favorite projects. And it was a true collaboration: Jeannie cut letters out of construction paper that I transformed into a brand, which was the perfect origin story for what ZigZag would become.
It’s an honor to have been a part of a small business that encourages creativity in others. ⚡️🌈🎨
Have you visited .lr at the Promenade yet? It’s been so fun watching this project come to life, and getting to shop a store full of pretty things is icing on the cake!

I loved having the opportunity to work with Maria Rosa on a rebrand and new website for . She is a true creative with a unique vision, but most importantly, she’s passionate about her work creating tangible memories for her clients. Her passion shines brightly through her work, and I was honored to be a part of that. You can see more from this project at her website: rememberthislegacybooks.com
Don’t be boring!

“Whether brand differentiation means what the brand stands for, the way the product is made, or the way they engage their audience, consumers are looking for differentiated experiences and brands they can connect to.”
It’s no longer enough to have a good product. Consumers are looking for an experience and a relationship, and a brand’s personality is how that connection is made. You can’t be best friends with everyone, but you can be best friends with the people you feel a connection to. So who is your brand’s ideal BFF, and how are you connecting to them?
Let’s talk brand photography. I get lots of business owners who come to me and say, “I need brand design, but I have to get my website up first.” First of all: no you don’t. 😂 Your brand will determine nearly every aspect of your website, so brand design ALWAYS comes first.
The next step is brand photography. We live in an increasingly visual world, and having photography that is a reflection of your brand’s messaging, aesthetics and quality needs to be second on your to-do list after brand design.
I PROMISE you: a potential client is going to look at your photos before they read that block of text or list of services. Brand photography builds trust and adds perceived value. If the only photos on your website are blurry cell phone shots, a potential client will assume your products or services will be equally shoddy.
“But professional photography is expensive,” you say. Yeah, sometimes! But you get what you pay for. Look at it as an investment that goes beyond your website. Those photos belong to you to use however you like. And having a big folder of quality photography at the ready certainly makes posting to social media or developing marketing materials a whole lot easier.
“But I hate having my photo taken,” you say. Bestie, no one hates having their photo taken more than me. But a good photographer will make you look good and make the process as painless as possible, I promise.
“But I don’t know any photographers,” you say. Cool, I know lots. Call me.
All this to say: suck it up. Get those photos done. If I can do it, so can you.
Thanks to for being my hand-holder for this one.
Nothing makes me happier than happy clients!
I’m busy over here working on some updates to my own brand, and that includes all new brand photography with - more to come!
Starting today, we are Remember This Legacy Books.
The magic behind the scenes happened thanks to the incredibly talented professionals that poured their creativity into the project. And my generous friends, who enthusiastically were by my side, opened their homes, cheered me on, and served chilled white wine before photo sessions! Cheers to you, extraordinary ladies!
