With the Christmas holiday upon us and family gatherings all around, it’s a perfect time to reflect on how we approach and react to relatives who – for lack of a better phrase – just crawl all over our nerves.
From politics and religion to bossy siblings, tomorrow's panel “Keeping the Peace: Have a Merry (not Hairy) Christmas!” will help us explore some ways we can manage that sometimes family dynamics frustration to enjoy a memorable holiday season.
Moderated by Club 99er Adrienne Collins, this panel will feature Club 99er Dr. Teri Cox-Meadows who will speak to the neuroscience behind our feelings and Dr. Chelsea Wakefield who will help us work on our coping skills. We'll see you there!
A massive shoutout to our awesome Club 99ers who spent a couple of hours earlier this week prepping potatoes for distribution as the Arkansas Foodbank powers through one of its busiest seasons.

Lori has more than 140 board games in her collection and even has dreams of creating her own around the emergency management world she takes part in as executive director of the American Red Cross Serving Greater Arkansas.

With Drug Take Back Month winding down, it’s a good time for us all to pause and think about the impact the opioid crisis has had on Arkansas.
Join us TOMORROW as Club 99 Past President Sharon Vogelpohl will lead a special panel of professionals, including Kirk Lane, director of the Arkansas Opioid Recovery Partnership, and Randy Zook, president and CEO of the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce, who will speak to the economic impact opioids have had on our state. Also joining us to share his family’s very personal story will be Chris Robertson, who lost his 22-year-old son, Warren, to opioid addiction just last year. We will see you there.

He has taught himself many recipes and cooking techniques via YouTube, Instagram and anywhere he can find a cool trick. His idea of a fun night is testing a new recipe and cooking it to perfection!
