It’s national Occupational Therapy month!

“Occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants focus on the things you want and need to do in your daily life. Occupational therapy intervention uses everyday life activities (occupations) to promote health, well-being, and your ability to participate in the important activities in your life. Congratulations to our Spotlight Therapist of the Month, Jennifer Dickson!

Jennifer Dickson graduated from the University of Central Arkansas, in 2013, with her Master of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy and a minor in Psychology. After working in various settings, she has found that Pediatrics fills a special place in her heart. She enjoys helping children reach their full potential through individualized therapeutic play and by putting the fun in functional!
When Jennifer is not helping little hands learn and master new skills, she is spending time with her son, husband, and Siamese cat. In her free time, she enjoys Pilates, traveling, good food, and her family and friends. Jennifer is also passionate about helping single mothers and the homeless through donation and volunteer work.
