💎Father and Son find big gem!💎

On Saturday, July 27 Will and Marshall Barnett, from Arizona, visited Arkansas’ Crater of Diamonds State Park and found a 2-carat diamond on the surface of the park’s 37.5-acre search area.

This recent father-and-son trip to the Crater of Diamonds State Park resulted in the story of a lifetime and the second-largest diamond registered so far this year.

Join Park Interpreter Carrie at the Slunger Creek Nature Trailhead for a fun and informative hike! 🌿 She will explore what makes moths different from butterflies and dive into the world of these fascinating creatures.

🗓 Date: Saturday, July 27
🕒Time: 7:30 p.m.
📍Location: Slunger Creek Nature Trailhead

Bring your drinking water and wear sturdy shoes. The hike will last about 30 minutes. Afterwards, join us for an hour-long citizen science program to help identify and report the variety of moth species found in our park. 🦋
