Southern Ain't Fried Sundays Coordinator, Courtney Cadillac Simmons recently hosted a healthy snack demonstration for more than 50 kiddos at a multi-church vacation bible school. He picked 4 'sous chefs' as helpers and together they made a healthy version of chex mix along with a discussion about serving sizes and reading food labels. 😋

Our version was a hit! Some of the kids had never tried ingredients like dill, which was one of the major herbs we used. 🌿

Trying new spices and herbs is an important component of helping to reduce the over-consumption of salt, sugar, and unhealthy fats.
