( #2418 and #2421) I don't think that either will take too long or be very difficult, though both could use someone tall or with a ladder or at least a step-stool. Thanks to all who participated in LoveLodi. We trimmed, weed-whacked, raked and cleaned up yards in both the Il Vineto and Casa de Lodi senior's mobile home parks.

Join us in May and June when we do it all over again.

Join us this Saturday (4/27) with Love Lodi. We've got 3-4 separate Fairy Yardmothers of Lodi projects that volunteers will be working on. The one for several residents at the Il Veneto seniors mobile home park is short-handed and could use your help. Home Love Lodi is more than a city-wide volunteer day. We are a city-wide movement championing volunteerism and doing good in our city.

Unfortunately, due to a shortage of volunteers, I am not able to take on any additional clients at this time. I am desperately seeking new volunteers, but until then I am unable to support people who have already asked for help, let alone any more.

It's great that spring seems to be upon us. Can you spare 2-3 hours to help out one of the seniors in need who've reached out the Fairy Yardmothers for help?

Most of our clients are in their 80's or 90's, have limited mobility and live on low, fixed incomes so they can't afford to pay someone to help them. Can you?

We had a very long, hot summer with so many requests for help that it took until this week to service all of our outstanding requests.

And wouldn't you know it, while I was out trimming hedges for the very last client, I got a call for more assistance. 🥹 And then another one yesterday.

Can someone turn down the thermostat outside? We've got clients who need help, but it's sizzling out there and no one's anxious to get out in the heat to pull weeds. Hang in there folks, hopefully we'll get a break soon.
