Tips and things to consider when choosing extensions and why consultations are a MUST:
• desired length
• desired fullness
• your hairs natural texture
• your head shape and size
• your current haircut/length/thickness
• your current &/or desired hair color
• your ability/willingness to properly wash & style
the right hair type/length/color/method & MAINTAINING your new look?
•TIME - Hair Extensions can be quick or they can take several hours. This doesn’t just mean your first visit, this includes coming in regularly (preferably every 6 weeks) for maintenance. Your hair grows and therefore your extensions will grow out. To prevent breakage, manage them at home easier and blend with your natural hair, keeping them close to your scalp ideal.
I can’t tell you how many new methods pop up every year claiming to allow you to avoid all these things. It’s simply isn’t true. The longer you allow your extensions to grow out the heavier they get causing more stress on your own hair. Not to mention it makes it really hard to brush, style and camouflage when they’re hanging several inches out. So keep them fresh!
While hair extensions bring instant gratification and are a quick fix to a bad haircut, thin hair, or going from short to long instantly or simply adding a pop of color, they require time, dedication, good product and the proper love & care by you at home.

I LOVE doing Hair Extensions and seeing my clients light up when they leave my chair. I LOVE being able to offer my clients options and solutions to their hair issues. But I’m also super honest about what it takes to maintain your look. YOUR time & budget are KEY to choosing the right route to take for your desired look.
I can send you off instantly looking and feeling amazing but if you don’t put in the work at home, invest in the right professional products and commit to the recommended scheduled maintenance appointments, you just might end up in a love/hate relationship with your extensions.
