Keyon Harrold - Find Your Peace ft. Common, Robert Glasper, Jean Baylor 09/28/2024

Keyon Harrold, the musician Wynton Marsalis has called "the future of the trumpet," was in the doldrums from the pandemic lockdown, the passing of his mother, and the racially charged assault of his then 14-year-old son. That changed with a trip to Las Vegas where he played with his wider musical family (Common, PJ Morton, Malaya and more), generating a renewed creative spirit and his inspired album, Foreverland.

For nearly two decades, Charles M. Blow has provided bold and insightful commentary on politics, public opinion, and social justice. Says Blow, "I am fascinated by precedents and historical corollaries — I view human beings as stuck in rotation of our failings and frailties — so I often use history to contextualize our present-day politics." In addition to his work at The New York Times, Charles Blow is also the author of "Fire Shut Up in My Bones" and "The Devil You Know," which inspired the HBO documentary "South to Black Power."
