Alexa and I made it to the summer concert tonight. They played Selena and Mana!! That’s all I needed..

The illegal fireworks in our city have been out of control. Please call in any activity you are having in your neighborhoods, this will help us identify hot spots for extra patrol.

Please if you see and hear something report it. Just heard a loud one around Virginia and Monroe.

Another. Paramount adult softball season in the books. To celebrate we hosted a nice bbq for all of the players.

Congratulations to all Paramount Seniors!! Class of 2024… Over 900 students graduated with many going to UCLA, USC, Berkley and Columbia University in New York..

Our future is looking very promising here in Paramount 🎓🎓🎓..

Paramount’s 5k/1k was a huge success with over 500 participants.

It was great to see all ages participating in the event as well as neighboring cities. All proceeds made from the event will go to future scholarships for our Paramount students!

Team Olmos completed the course - walking 🚶 in 52 minutes 😁.

Proud to represent the City of Paramount at the annual Contract Cities municipal seminar as the outgoing Secretary/Treasure and now serving as the Vice President!!

The annual conference brings city colleagues, policy makers and service providers that work with cities to help improve the quality of life for our residents!

I moderated a panel with LA County Fire and Sheriff’s Departments who provided the latest developments around public safety.

On Thursday, May 2nd, I had the honor to MC the Children's Benefit Dinner hosted by the Community Family Guidance Center to honor Martha Sodetani with the Protector of Children Award for 2024.
I was also able to introduce a champion to many of us Speaker Emeritus Anthony Rendon.

Congratulations to all of the city council on the grand opening of TopGolf!

Love attending career day at Lincoln Elementary school. I had the opportunity to talk to 4th and 1st graders who asked me " What do you love about your job?" My answers: l love my city, I love serving you as a Councilmember.

It was so fun attending yet another grand opening of the Progress Park playground this past weekend!

I also attended and worked the Historical Society booth at the ECO Friendly fair. It was a great turnout with alot of great vendors! Who got a fruit tree?

This week I attended the League of California City Leaders Summit in Sacramento! It was great to see many of my fellow colleagues from neighboring cities and join forces to advocate at the Capitol.
We need to keep pushing the agenda on Public Safety and Affordable Housing!

This week I attended the Paramount Chamber of Commerce's 2024 Women in Business luncheon. This years theme was “Passing the baton” which means it’s now our time to mentor our future leaders.

Paramount is on the move today! Our first event was the grand opening of our new park equipment at All American Park... We are all superheroes!

It was then off to Paramount pool for our spring opening.

Huge THANK YOU to our Community Service department for making these events amazing for our community!

Tonight was the first game of the season for the coed- softball. The park was full and the bats were definitely in play tonight.

Come out and watch the teams on Thursday night! First game starts at 6:30.

Eventful day in the City of Paramount!

I started my day at the Young Women’s empowerment conference at PHS. Despite the weather it was a packed gym full of amazing young girls looking to make a difference ❤️.

Next I attended the Dia de Los ninos event hosted by Tepic Sister Cities. Thank you to all the sponsors and exhibitors for your support. A huge shout out to the Hollydale Mariachi group your performance was amazing. 🤩

Last night we celebrated Beverly Hills Mayor Julian Gold on a successful year as Contract Cities president. We are so grateful for your leadership and commitment to the association. It was an honor to serve as your secretary/treasurer on the executive board.

Congratulations to PYB on a successful opening day. It was so great to see all the players and parents coming together to start the season off. I want to give a huge THANK YOU to the PYB board of directors for volunteering your time and bringing this to our Paramount community!
