Great job, Spring 2024 Bakery students!

Just a quick reminder that the bakery will be closed until the start of our upcoming Fall semester. We're looking forward to seeing everyone again soon! Have a fantastic summer!!

Our bakery students are back at it again, whipping up some amazing baked goods!!

Be sure to indulge in our latest additions to the menu tomorrow: the irresistible Brown Butter Toffee Chocolate Chip Cookie and the rich Semi Sweet Double Chocolate Muffin. Tomorrow marks the final day of bakery, so don't miss out!

•Brown Butter Toffee Chocolate Chip Cookie: your favorite chocolate chip cookie but with a caramelized buttery twist.

•Semi Sweet Double Chocolate Muffin: Double Chocolate?? YES, PLEASE!! Start your day with a rich, soft chocolate muffin.

•Cinnamon Sugar Palmier: A crisp palmier covered with cinnamon sugar. The perfect complement to your coffee.

The LBCC Bakery is managed by students enrolled in Bake 243. In this course, they are learning and practicing topics like time management, inventory control, and production line operation. A highlight of their curriculum includes creating a new product, including detailing the recipe, description, and pricing. So be on the lookout for some new menu items crafted by our students!

Have you tried our bakery's Rustic Ratatouille Tarts?

🥧🍅 Imagine the flavors of a Ratatouille on a golden, buttery, tart shell. A spread of tomato sauce, creamy béchamel, and mozzarella cheese on top. Then, we add colorful layers of fresh zucchini, squash, and tomatoes. Top it off with some fresh basil, and it's ready!

Good News! The LBCC Bakery is opening up again next week on March 8th. We will be open Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday’s 10 AM- 1 PM. * We will be serving a limited menu * Some of our popular favorites: Chocolate Chip cookies, Apple Turnovers, and a variety of croissants.
