Something that is often forgotten about when studying abroad is reverse culture shock. You may be leaving your host country excited to return home or sad about your study abroad experience coming to an end, but either way, there is a chance you may suffer from reverse culture shock when you arrive back home. Here are a few challenges you may face when adapting to life back home and some ways to overcome reverse culture shock.

🇯🇵 |Did you know that CSU IP has 2 Japan Programs? The University of Tsukuba is one of the oldest National universities in Japan and is ranked in the top 10 universities in Japan. The University of Tsukuba currently enrolls approximately 3,000 international students—more than any other Japanese national university—and plans to increase this to over 5,000 to expand their position as a global university. The Deadline to study abroad at the University of Tsukuba is FEBRUARY 15th!

"I was able to visit both the northern most and southern most island in Japan and plenty of prefectures in between. I did so many things I never even dreamt of doing and now have friends all across the globe. I gained a second home in Japan and while I do have some regrets regarding my college life, studying abroad will never be one of them. If you are thinking of going abroad but are scared don't be, your time abroad will be life changing and it will help you find out more about yourself as well."
