Today is also Kukur Tihar which is a Nepali festival celebrating dogs by placing the red mark on their heads (tilaka) and feeding them treats.

Save those receipts (or at least take a picture of them)! You can write off the items you purchase to protect and help your patients. This includes but is not limited to masks, gloves, gowns, blood pressure cuff, sanitizer, theraband, weights, balance tools, pediatric toys etc. Check to see if CEUs can be another write off as well!

Track your Miles! You can write off a portion of the miles you drive for work on your taxes. Apps may be the easiest method, but you can always take of picture of your odometer or write it down as well.

Creating a distraction free space is key 💥 Don’t be afraid to ask the client/Caregiver to remove distractions, ie turning of the TV!
