LAS welcomes the remarkable Die​rdre Friel to our teaching faculty! Die​rdre is an exceptional artist and teacher. You may recognize her from New Amsterdam or as a series regular on Apple TV’s Physical, where she stars alongside Rose Byrne and LAS students Della Saba and Paloma Rabinov. Her theater credits include Stephen Adly Guirgis’ Our Lady of 121st Street, directed by Phylicia Rashad, and Broadway productions such as Leap of Faith and Golden ​Age with Lee Pace. Die​rdre graduated from Rutgers, trained at The Globe Theatre in London, and has taught at prestigious institutions, including NYU Tisch.
