It is an interceptive treatment that typically occurs between 6 and 9 years of age, during mixed dentition phase, when patients start to lose their baby teeth.

What is Class 2 malocclusion?
-It’s when the bite is off! 🫦
Specifically when the upper jaw is too far forward compared to the lower jaw and can cause the « triangles of the upper teeth » or cusps not to fit properly between the « triangles of the lower teeth » causing wearing off of the beautiful and functional cusps needed to eat and chew properly.
