I was picking up some students from Gardner Street Elementary School yesterday, and a group of kids ran up to me (I was in full uniform) and said: "Please show us something" They were all so excited with anticipation when I said "Sure" They all stepped back and gave me some room...I backed up... put my feet together...Arms down at my side and I BOWED.

Anniversary CELEBRATION (May) At Hollywood Karate: 15 years with the Moo Duk Kwan this month! (28 plus years teaching in the same location).
We had brand new students attending, to students who have been training here for over 20 years, and everyone in between! Thank you to all the students & their families! A special thank you to my Instructor, Daymon Kenyon Sa Bom Nim.

Our focus for this month in kids class is "Consequences:" (The effect, result, or outcome of something occurring earlier: a conclusion derived through logic).
Of course, with the kids we explain it pretty simply: "If you misbehave or break the rules, there will be consequences." Whether in school or at home, good behavior will result in good consequences...Bad behavior equals bad results (Consequences). "SIMPLE BUT NOT EASY."
