The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health will unveil the latest LA County Health Survey, which gathers vital data on health behaviors, conditions, neighborhood settings, and the needs of LA County residents, informing future public health policies and programs. The event will include an overview of the Los Angeles County Health Survey, insights from a CDU speaker on historical and future applications, presentations on data-driven policy and program implementation, and a comprehensive Q&A session with attendees. #

Healing can come in many forms. For world renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma, he sees his music as a way to create touch between humans. Tirelessly performing around the world, Yo-Yo shares his musical gift generously and collaborates with many musicians, knowing that music brings healing, solace and inspiration. Music is what gives his own life meaning.

In this conversation about the healing power of music, Yo-Yo Ma and the Surgeon General contemplate how music can bring meaning that sometimes words alone cannot. How does music transform our minds and our bodies? How does music connect us to ourselves, to our humanity? The BMHCE will be offering free group prenatal care to Black birthing families starting at the end of February. We accept patients from 4-36 weeks gestation. Appointments are available mornings and afternoons. Our sessions are supported by evidence-based models proven to
