Why Chicas?
Our story begins with the founder, Irlanda Montes, and her dream to share her mother’s family recipes. This dream brought a time of laughter and joy as her sisters worked along side her making small batches of tortilla chips and salsa. If you walked into the kitchen, you wouldn’t be able to figure out anyone’s name as all the sisters referred to each other as ‘Chica’ (‘girl’ in Spanish).
Today, Chicas continues to be family operated.
