Introducing: Edwin Covarrubias - Host of "The Beep"

Edwin Covarrubias hosts a lineup of Scary FM podcasts as an established voice in paranormal storytelling. As a kid, Edwin got his first dose of scary stories late one night in the stretch between San Diego and Los Angeles when his parent's car picked up a signal from a Mexican scary storytelling show, La Mano Peluda... (The Hairy Hand), and he's been hooked ever since.

Greenway Court Theatre is excited to invite you to the live podcast adaptation of "The Beep", where a lone traveler discovers that some stories are better left untold...

Front Row & Amplified presents: โ€œThe Beepโ€ - a live podcast hosted by Scary FMโ€™s very own Edwin Covarrubias of Scary Story Podcast. ๐Ÿ–ค

Greenway Court Theatre invites you to join in on the Halloween spirit, as you follow a lone traveler in a small, quiet town as he becomes increasingly captivated by a
mysterious podcast with no name and a haunting yellow cover. But what begins as an innocent fascination soon spirals into a terrifying reality, where the stories eerily mirror his own life. As the beeping sound that guides him home at night turns sinister, he discovers that some stories
are better left untold.

โ€œThe Beepโ€ is sure to leave you questioning the sounds you hear in the darkโ€ฆ

Greenway Court Theatre is very excited to announce its upcoming original theatrical production...

Ghost Stories: The Dead Canโ€™t Dance

Ghost stories are woven into the fabric of all cultures; they know no borders. We are haunted and fascinated by them, sitting around a fire telling ghost stories is one the oldest and most universal of human experiences.

Join us for a night of ghost stories brought to life by some of L.Aโ€™s most renowned storytellers as they share their tales through an immersive, cross-cultural evening of music, theatre, and dance.

A collaboration with the Greenway Institute of the Art , Ghost Stories: The Dead Can't Dance will bring what the students of LAUSD have been studying to life on the stage with the help of top-tier L.A storytellers and theatre artists and their take on the ancient art of telling ghost stories.

๐Ÿฅญ The House on Mango Street๐Ÿฅญ

As part of our GreenwayReads program, we produced Amy Ludwigโ€™s adaptation of The House on Mango Street, a play that centers around the life of young Latina Esperanza Cordero, as she undergoes her personal journey into adulthood. As she matures, Esperanza encounters the harsh realities of puberty as well the hardships witnessed in her family and her Mango Street neighborhood. Despite all she witnesses and endures, Esperanza seeks hope and persists toward a better future.

GreenwayReads is a multi-disciplinary approach to programming that focuses on a novelโ€™s themes while bringing it to life on stage and through arts education and special events.

Director: Alexandra Meda
Adapted by Amy Ludwig, based on the book by Sarah Cisneros
