Thanks to for finding us and telling a bit of our story and letting us share some of the stories we’ve learned about while being in the West Adams Neighborhood. We are proud to be in this neighborhood that has such a rich history of music and we love learning about the people and places here and the neighboring communities through records and interactions in our store . West Adams has a rich of history of jazz and blues clubs like The Rubaiyat Room on Adams and Western. The Jazz Go-Go club near Western on Adams. The It club on Washington and Harcourt and The Parisian Room on Washington and La Brea. These venues featured some of the finest musicians of all time like Duke Ellington , Ella Fitzgerald , Thelonious Monk, Miles Davis and John Coltrane to name a few and the history of music continues in West Adams to this day. If you know about some of these places and want to tell us about them then please reach out to us or stop by the shop. We would also like to see any records from this time or any time in music that you might want to part with and sell to our shop. Thank you .
