Big shout out to my family from Hawaii who flew out to help me for the day, my buddy Dane, and for jumping in to help us w/ the expo! We will be donating a portion of our sales to so we appreciate the overwhelming love and patience from everyone yesterday! 🙏🏻🥖💚

Today is the day! We are so excited to come out of retirement for an amazing cause and to be back at our old stomping grounds at for the fundraiser. We’ll be serving our Grilled Pork Bánh Mì, Vegan Lemongrass Tofu Bánh Mì, and Vegan Chả giò (Crispy Spring Rolls)! 3056 Roswell St! Come see us from 12-5pm or until we sell out!

We are excited to come back to next SUNDAY 5/23 for part of their series WELCOME TO OUR WORLD benefitting ! We will be serving our Grilled Pork Banh Mi, Lemongrass Tofu Banh Mi, and Vegan Cha Gio (crispy spring rolls)! Everything will be available for take-out or to enjoy in the outdoor seating area from noon - 5pm. Proceeds will be going to and their important work combatting racism and anti-Asian hate. I started in the parking lot of the with the help of my buddy .bee.driftwood and my husband over 10 years ago. Our friend was DJing at the bar and told us we could sell food while the djs played. We brought coolers, our campfire stove, a couple of cast iron skillets, and prepped as much food as we thought we would need. I took orders and made the food, .bee.driftwood manned the BBQ, and stood in the over 100 degree parking lot and pan fried 160 vegan and traditional cha gio (Vietnamese egg rolls) and all the tofu orders. This was in August of 2009. Here we are, over 10 years later, and I cannot express enough gratitude for all of the people I’ve met, lifetime friends I’ve made, my amazing crew who has worked with me for years (Nathaniel, Jose, Claudio, Garrick, Dane, Irita, Becky, Andrew, Mark, Christina, Julian) and all of the crazy and wonderful experiences I’ve had because of . Thank you for all of your love and support for these past 10 years. I stepped off the truck when I had my older daughter 6.5 years ago, but my heart always belonged to . My mom ran a Vietnamese restaurant in Honolulu, HI with my stepdad for over 15 years and all of our recipes are based on the food she made that supported our family. So no, you cannot have any of our recipes. 😉 Please join us on Sunday 12/29 from 3-8pm at the in as we have our last service where it all started. We’ll be giving away our vegan cha gio with every order placed on the truck. We’d love to see you all one last time. And who knows, maybe once my 2 daughters are old enough, I’ll open up that restaurant after all. For now, I’ll be spending the majority of my days teaching them how to save our planet. 🌎 💚❤️✌🏻Mong
