⭐️Felicidades to Dra. Lani Cupchoy on being anointed the title of “Abuela” Elder for the Indigenous Council. This is such an incredible honor—and we couldn’t be more proud of this prestigious recognition for her contributions to the advocacy of Kanaka Maoli representation from Maui at the 23rd session of the United Nations Permanent Forum. 🎉👏

So grateful that our colegas at CSULB hosted a platica with la gran maestra Ana Castillo 🔥🙌🏽🌱💥🤩 was there to honor her! Our chair Profe Anita was there and so were our 2 CLS MA students Jamilet Ochoa and Joel Chávez 🌱
