• Raw or organic liquid honey (water down)
• Chili powder
• Paprika-sweet or smoked adds a nice touch
• Cayenne pepper
• Sea salt and cracked black pepper
• Lime
• Scallions
• Fresh parsley

Salad is the Main Course
Combining exercise with eating fewer calories is the best way to achieve your goal weight because you are using a little more energy while also taking in less.
I also recommend making your goals specific.
A specific goal might be walking 30 minutes daily, five times a week.
The goal is clearly defined and realistic.
You might want to walk every day, but something might come up, such as having to stay late at work or a sick day.
Trying to exercise five times a week might be more achievable.
Other specific, realistic goals include adding more fresh fruits and vegetables at each meal and replacing full-fat dairy and meat with a plant-based version like almond milk and black beans.
That’s more specific than “eat better” and more realistic than planning to drastically reduce how much you eat.
Some people initially lose a lot of weight and then find their progress slows.
Either way, aiming for just 1–2 pounds per week or 4–8 pounds per month is best.

For over 10 years, I’ve been following a plant-based diet and practicing intermittent fasting.
It’s been a journey of health, discipline, and consistency.
At first, it was challenging to transition to a plant-based diet, but once I got the hang of it, I began to see and feel positive changes in my body and mind.
I’ve experienced numerous benefits including weight loss, improved skin, hair, and overall energy levels, and better mental health.
The journey had its own challenges such as social aspect and lack of variety in my diet.
But I’ve overcome them by being consistent and trying new recipes.
Overall, it’s been an amazing journey and I hope my story can inspire others to make positive changes in their own lives.
Another benefit I’ve experienced is an improvement in my overall health markers.
My cholesterol and blood pressure levels have decreased and my energy levels have increased.
Studies have shown that a plant-based diet can have a positive impact on heart health, diabetes and other chronic diseases.
Remember, health and wellness is a journey, not a destination and it’s important to be patient and consistent.
