You guys! The most magical thing is happening in my little backyard!
🦋 A few weeks ago, we bought a milkweed plant. That very day, a beautiful Monarch butterfly came and landed on the plant. She returned many days in a row. I named her Parmahansa.
🐛One morning, we woke up to dozens of little caterpillars on the leaves! Boy can they eat!!
🐛In no time they were huge!
🪴They also DECIMATED the milkweed plant. Clearly we need like 10 of them.
🐛🦋 This morning, all of the caterpillars abandoned the eaten plant and there are chrysalis’ hanging all over the yard.
The doula in me can hardly contain herself!! Not to mention watching this beautiful, complicated fertility journey play out in front of me 🪴🦋🐛🐛🐛🐛🐛🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋💗💗💗💗💗💗
