While Chris was in the hospital, our palisadespizza.com was scooped up by some strange restaurant in Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada. Doesn’t look like they have pizza or deliver to Pacific Palisades. Not sure how or when we’re going to get our .com domain back. Such is life.

Something for First Time customers.

We’re upgrading our phone system. Currently, when you call, you will hear music and may not hear the ringing. Please bear with us. It is ringing on our end and we will be answering your call. Chris is coming to our rescue to do his magic on the technology side. The rest of us will be preparing your orders and delivering your food to your doors.

Wow! What a great 4th of July! A big thank you to our customers who ordered knowing it takes a little extra time when roads are closed off during the parade. It was our pleasure to get your orders to you as quickly and safely as we could. Also, to those who ordered later on during and after the fireworks when cars were out and traffic was at its peak, thank you for your patience. To our “out of town” walk-in customers who come in every year during the parade, it is always great to see you. For some of you, we’ve seen your children grow from below the counter to heights we never could have imagined. Your loyalty means so much to us. And of course, those annual visitors to the Palisades who worked here, oh so many years ago, it wouldn’t be the same without seeing you and your families each year. We sincerely look forward to it.

A couple days past Valentine's Day, but this last Friday night's request from a customer. Making a heart shaped pizza was a first for me. Since Chris is still in the hospital, I was deemed as the next likely one who could pull it off. Cute and delicious!

As many of you may know, Chris has been in the hospital since December 23. His condition is currently improving. However, without Chris it has become impractical to remain open past 10pm until he has fully recovered. We plan to open every day (until next Thanksgiving) at 11am, but we will stop taking orders after 10pm for the near future. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and hope to return to our regular hours before summer.

The local shop is a neighborhood favorite, and with some of the comments and nominations we got asking to recognize Palisades Pizza, it isn't hard to see why.

"Quite possibly the best pizza pie I've had since I moved here 7+ years ago. Sad it took this long to discover it," wrote one happy customer.
