Phillip the Black Goat is a Black Farmhouse Sour Ale that was conjured up at Angel City last Halloween. The brew spent one year in both an oak foeder as well as second-use Utopias and maple syrup barrels. This ale combines the rich flavors of chocolate, coffee and raisins with a oaky, tart finish. The result? A seriously devilish blend for Halloween 2024.

Zombie Rotbier is back from the dead ☠️

Rotbier is a traditional Nuremberg-style red lager (rot = red) we brew every year just in time for spooky season. This style of beer is perfect for our warm fall season in LA, being a refreshing lager with a maltier backbone.

The label features art from our dear friend , an LA-based visual art alchemist strongly influenced by romanticism, surrealism, and expressionism. This is the last can art collaboration for 2024, in partnership with , and we think we’re really closing it out with a bang!

It might still feel like summer but we’re changing our hours for winter anyways so get used to it.

Jumping back in the saddle for another DTLA Brews & Bike crawl! 🚲 🍻

On Sunday, September 29th join us & our DTLA beer friends for DTLA Brews & Bike Crawl part 2! We’ll be rallying at at 11am, scooting to at noon, bombing it down to at 1pm, then finally wobbling our way to Angel City at 2pm!

Attendees receive a stamp card at the beginning of the crawl - collect all 4 stamps and the card becomes valid for $2 off any pint at each brewery! The discount is only valid for one-time use at each brewery, and has to be redeemed on a different date from the event.

No ticket required to join - this event is as free as it feels to, well, ride a bike!

This release takes the best from two of our favorite fermented beverages - the Gose from Germany & Tepache from Mexico. These beverages originated worlds apart but blend together oh so perfectly, fermented pineapple rind of Tepache and the salty tartness of Goses come together to create a tropical & refreshing late summer sipper.
