Hi! We’re Verde Realty, a full service Real Estate Brokerage dedicated to serving and educating residents and investors of the Greater Los Angeles Metro area. Our number one priority is the clients and communities we serve and making sure their needs are always above all else. Serving YOU is why we’re here and we are SO GLAD you found us!

How we came to be...Verde Realty was founded in 2007 by Erika Mlachak Farmer, who has always had a passion for all things Real Estate. Growing up a Navy “Brat”, she and her family were often on the move. By the time she was 9 years old, she had moved 6 times to 4 states and 2 Countries. As an adult, when she looked back upon her childhood, she realized that no matter how often she relocated, she always remembered the homes in which her family lived. Even now, she recalls elements of each home and the special memories made, however fleeting her time there may have been. Home. Home is special. Home is memorable. Home is part of us.

Erika is an alumnus of Florida State University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degrees in English Literature and Communications. She has been active in the Real Estate Industry for over eighteen years and has earned the Certified Eco Broker and e-PRO Designations. She served as Chair of the Beverly Hills/Greater Los Angeles Association of Realtors (BH/GLAAR) Young Professionals Network (YPN) from 2011 to 2016, as Director on the BH/GLAAR Board of Directors (2012-2015), as Director on the California Association of Realtors (CAR) Board of Directors (2014 - 2016), and was honored as one of The National Association of Realtors, REALTOR Magazine’s Annual Top 30 Under 30 Nationwide Realtors in 2009.

Erika’s experiences have crafted her unique perspective about Real Estate. She knows every home has a story, every transaction is unique, and every strategy will be different. The cornerstone of her business philosophy is to bring her comprehensive knowledge and industry experience to her clients so they can make the most informed decisions when it comes to their Home.
