This overbred momma that no longer served a purpose to her breeder’s was dumped at the shelter and in need of rescue.

She is listed as a 2 year old Cane Corso mix, knows commands like sit and high five, and is kenneled with other dogs. She may be a Presa Canario, but we’re not certain.

We could see from the photos that she’s been through a lot, but despite that remains trusting and sweet.

She is located at City of San Bernardino Animal Services and the ID is .

A man named David Williams of Coyote Trail in Fort Worth, Texas, went onto someone’s property to shoot and kill a pittie named Buster. He claimed Buster was just barking.

Eyewitnesses report that Buster was hunted, chased, cornered and shot dead. Apparently they begged him to leave the dog alone, but instead chose to gun him down.

The family had just gotten home from his daughter’s soccer game discovering Buster’s lifeless body on their property.

It was mentioned that this is not an impoverished area and actually animal control and authorities that would come, but Williams was instead intent on killing.

Please report to police by calling; 817-392-4222. The location of incident is 14101 Sierra Vista Way Fort Worth, Texas.

Williams work at North Side high school and Tarrant County College in Fort Worth. Please also contact the Fort Worth Independent School District (FWISD) board of directors by calling (817) 814-1920, or email [email protected] to make a public comment in writing.

Unique to most places in the world, Texas really does have a big problem when it comes to how they view and treat animals. It’s actually unbelievable.

A family in Tampa, Florida evacuating for hurricane Milton say they can’t take these dogs because one scratched their kid and want them gone immediately.

If anyone is local to the area can help, please text: 813-695-5473. The number belongs to a neighbor and so please do not clog up their line with hate or anything not relevant to this other than legitimate help that can save their lives.

Phones has been ringing off the hook about people who say they cannot take their pets while evacuating, or people who are just leaving their pets behind.

It’s like we’ve always said, animals are always the first to pay the ultimate price for mankind’s missteps. 💔

Heartbreaking images shared with us of the many pets left stranded during the recent storms throughout the South.💔

While we do our best to verify all images, we have also been privy to stories of the deaths of many animals left behind. Many were caged and tied up during the storms.

This emaciated dog is very bad shape and looks like she doesn’t have very long to live.

The address is 2381 Gehrig Street West Covina, CA 91792

We’re told that the person who took the pic knocked on the front door, but nobody answered. We know the comments will be coming, but no, someone can’t “just take the dog”. That’s not only illegal, but an easy way for someone to possibly get hurt.

Please contact the agencies below so that action can be taken on this poor pups behalf.

If hypothetically, the owner decides to surrender the dog and she goes to a shelter, then a reputable rescue would have to have her tagged and pulled.

Thank you

We hope you’re all having as good of a day as this guy is.

We don’t know who he is or where he comes from, but it’s a great reminder as to why many of us are involved in animal rescue and advocacy, so keep fighting the good fight. We truly hope that this infectious guy brightened everyone’s day.

We saw this picture hanging at a Macy’s department store in Raleigh, North Carolina and just had to share it. If anyone knows anything about this handsome guy please let us know in the comments.

On 8/28 a cocker spaniel, named Reba was dropped off at Fluff and Love groomers in Brooklyn, NY for a bath and paw clean up by the owner, Bashir “Frankie” Bejaoui.

Reba’s owner hadn’t heard back so she walked up and see if she was ready. When she got there Bashir told her that Reba needed more time as she had become anxious and so he put her in the crate to calm her down.

When Reba’s owner looked at the small crate she noticed Reba had a thick blue collar around her neck and was unable to breathe. Her eyes were rolled into the back of her head and the blood vessels in both eyes broken.

Reba’s owner struggled to remove the collar because it was so tight and when asked how long she was in the crate, bashir stated, “about an hour and a half”.

Reba, blue in the mouth and gasping for air did stand up and attempt to walk, but could not see as her eyes were still rolled all the way back. She was rushed to the where she unfortunately passed away despite all attempts to help her to breathe.

When Reba’s owner demanded the video footage of the grooming session from Bashir, he refused. Police went in to speak to Bashir, and all he showed them was a small piece of footage from a cell phone of Reba on the grooming table.

This is still a fluid case with the NYPD, but it is recommended that no one use Fluff and Love groomers. When this groomer was under a previous name which was Fins, Furs and Feathers, a dog named Junior died as a result of being groomed by Bashir.

There is a protest planned Saturday at 11am at Fluff and Love located at 9514 4th ave in Brooklyn, NY.

This is a statue in Madrid, Spain of an emaciated dog to raise awareness to the plight of stray, abandoned and mistreated dogs.

This can be displayed everywhere, especially here in America, in states like Texas and other regions in the south where it’s more commonplace.

Maybe Spain should also have a statue commemorating the bulls there that die painful torturous deaths by being stabbed over and over with no way to escape, all in the name of sport.

The parallels we can draw to this are endless, as every nation has their sins, but regardless we still keep pushing for a more compassionate and humane society.

This poor pup was thrown down a trash shoot from the 17th floor at the Governor Alfred Smith houses on the lower east side of the Manhattan, New York City.

The dog was so badly hurt that she had to be euthanized.

The dog was heard Friday by someone living in the building. Maintenance workers removed the dog, and officers turned her over to the ASPCA.

Police are supposedly looking for who was responsible and if anyone has any information about who did this, please report it to the NYPD 7th precinct in Manhattan at (212) 477-7311 or call the Crime Stoppers tip line at (800) 577-TIPS.

With great sadness we wanted to announce that our Pixie is gone 💔💔💔

She was just a puppy and we are absolutely devastated by this loss. Our china shelter director Suki Su, who cared for Pixie is without words and in complete shock.

For 6 months Pixie had trouble breathing on her own and needed an oxygen chamber. She also battled pneumonia and skin disease. For the past 2 months she was off the oxygen and was finally stable enough to breathe normally. Then without any signs of sickness she just vomited blood and then died.

She loved to play with Suki’s daughter Alexis and dogs ZaiZai and Simba. She loved to chase frogs in the backyard, loved to eat vegetables and would bite Suki’s ankles whenever she went to see her.

As a Foundation, these losses hit us very very hard because we do everything we can to save and enrich their lives. It’s even worse for Suki who is a mother to all of our animals.

We also want to thank all of our followers that donated towards her care. You believed in her as much as we did and as much as we try to save them all, we just can’t all the time despite our best efforts. 💔

Pixie was loved greatly here on earth and we would have done anything to keep her alive. There will be no pure joy until we are all reunited one day.

This tragic situation in India of a dog falling from the sky resulted in the loss of human life.

In the Amrit Nagar area in Mumbai, India, CCTV footage shows a three-year-old child that tragically lost her life after being struck by a dog that fell from 5 stories onto a little girl was walking with her family.

Despite being rushed to the hospital, she unfortunately succumbed to her injuries and died. It’s reported that a man named Zaid Syed had placed a dog on the terrace of the Chirag Mansion building where the dog mysteriously leaped from the fifth floor. In the video, the dog can be seen walking away shortly after the fall.

Mumbra police have been notified about the incident, and they are currently conducting an investigation into the matter. This isn’t a matter of placing more importance on the dog over the child as many social media users from the area are suggesting, but dogs just don’t fall 5 stories by accident. India is one of the worst countries in the world for treatment of animals. We hope that the situation doesn’t prompt further mistreatment of animals because dogs there are regularly beat to death in the street in addition to other sadistic methods of torture.

If a human involved in this dog falling was in fact culpable, then we would hope that the police there will charge them with murder of the poor child.

The man in the video seen beating the dogs is Matt Neal from East Coast Retrievers, a business that trains dogs to hunt. The video shows the abuse not only that occurred recently, but in the past as demonstrated by the multiple videos.

Sheriff Jackie Brown of the Lenoir County Sheriff's Office issued a statement on FB saying that anyone with firsthand knowledge (videos, pictures or eyewitnesses to the abuse) is asked to contact the LCSO at 252-559-6118 and the County Health Department director Pamela Brown, at 252-526-4200 and email; [email protected]

The main phone number to the Lenoir County Sherrif’s office is 252-559-6100 and the email is: [email protected]

We heard that the previous chargers for Neal were dropped by the local AC Officer. Let’s ensure that it doesn’t happen this time and must insist that any remaining animals be removed from this man’s care. Please also tag in the comments any agencies that can be of help with this.

We have an urgent appeal for a foster

We need a foster for MaoMao and Zu Zu coming in from China. Without a foster they would unfortunately remain there and so we’re hoping that someone can step up for them at the last minute.

Zu zu was being raised for food and a neighbor convinced the man to sell him to her. The man bound him up in plastic bags and gave him to her and she brought him to our China shelter. He was petrified of people but at our China shelter the staff and Director worked with him and he is loving and friendly. He is only a year old.

MaoMao is an adorable 6 yo girl abandoned by her owner, but turned out to be a very playful and joyous little girl.

Both are are spay/neutered and up to date on vaccines. If you can help please fill out an adoption app at The HIT Living Foundation

This is so urgent that if we don’t find someone in next day we won’t have enough time for the necessary paperwork.

The people surrounding the car in this video are protesting the owner of a pet boarding business called Kippencares in Hamilton Ontario, Canada. The owner, Jessica Kippen is responsible for the death of two dogs being boarded there named Sammy and Cartelo.

Not only were the dogs abused and ultimately died, but they were thrown in the freezer afterwards. Prior to this there were other documented allegations of abuse by Kippen with dogs coming back to their owners in very bad shape.

Some may not agree with the methods of these people, but at times this is what people are pushed to do when the justice system fails over and over to enforce and prosecute animal abuse.

If anyone has any additional information about Jessica Kippen or knows the owners of Sammy or Cartello, please message us. We would like to help raise the profile this case and ultimately help prosecute and put this monster in jail and out of business permanently.

So far no official charges have been filed against Jessica Kippen by Hamilton police. Please contact Hamilton Police Service at 905-546-9025 to demand they take action.

RIP Sammy and Cartello

This is the post that we dread the most writing about each year, but how could we not?

June 21st is the start of the Yulin Lychee dog meat festival in China, and no, it hasn’t been called off. Thousands of people, not only in China, but from many parts of Europe will attend this festival out of curiosity and ignorance, to partake in unfounded scientific evidence that eating dog meat will promise medicinal benefits. They believe that the more pain that the dog is inflicted before its death that it will make its meat more tender. Many of these dogs are stolen pets that were once in loving homes, because not all Chinese condone this barbaric behavior. It’s important to remember that.

It’s estimated that 10-15,000 dogs will be slaughtered and consumed during this festival. It’s also estimated that China alone is responsible for slaughtering and consuming 10 million dogs per year in their everyday dog meat trade. You see, everyday is “Yulin” in China. To this day China still has no animal welfare laws.

For all of us that know and love them we can only pray that their deaths are quick and they don’t experience any prolonged suffering. Wishful thinking on our part, but nevertheless pray for mercy.

You may choose to look the other way, but you can never say again that you did not know” - William Wilberforce.

of South Dakota revealed in her new book that she had to shoot her 14 month old puppy, Cricket because she felt she was untrainable and attacked some chickens - as many dogs would do if they get the opportunity.

Now she’s doubling down by saying that President Joe Biden‘s dog, Commander should meet the same fate as Cricket. Where does it end? Seems this woman just wants to kill EVERYTHING!

Whether raised on a farm or in the city, how we view and treat animals says a lot about who we are. While the Foundation tries not to get political, we feel that someone in a position of power should be able exercise critical thinking and restraint in order to lead.

Our puppy Pixie is still struggling to breathe and is battling bronchial stenosis and lung disease. She was hospitalized for 52 days just to save her life, at a cost of $2500. She is still reliant on an oxygen tank to breath and Suki is giving her 10 different meds twice daily. We have to keep her from getting too playful and excited since she easily runs out of breath and that is no life for a puppy.

However, as she grows, there’s hope her lungs will develop, easing her breathing, but this journey comes at a cost beyond our means. The bills pile up – vet visits, medication and the vital oxygen maker alone cost $480.00

We can’t do this alone and Pixie needs the help of our wonderful animal loving supporters. Your generous donation big or small can make a difference and whether it’s a one time gift or a monthly reoccurring donation it’s all greatly appreciated.

One of the newest faces of evil has been apprehend by police, but is now back out on the street because his connected family posted bond.

San Juan Police Department in Texas arrested 21 year-old Jacob Luna for beating and strangling to death an 11-year-old pug named Max. Luna hopped the fence to murder Max and it was caught on surveillance video. Luna faces four charges, including theft, animal cruelty, criminal, trespassing, and tampering with evidence. According to Max’s owner, Luna was just a neighbor, and not someone that she knew.

The bond amount went from $104,000 bond to a Personal Recognizance bond of $2,500 and were told that the family who owns a company called HyQual Roofing is very well off.

In the interview with police, he admitted that killing Max made him feel “alive”.

Once again, animal abuse gets a slap on the wrist and isn’t taken seriously. We’ll try to provide more information once the court date arrives.

04/18/2024

Warning: graphic video

The man seen in the surveillance video, walked up to the gate where this poor pug was and murdered the dog by hitting him over the head and then strangling him. After that, he left the property with the dogs dead body. This happened in San Juan, Texas.

The woman who owned the dog just let him out to do his business at 10:40 pm and then after that she said he couldn’t be found. After reviewing the video footage, she contacted the San Juan Texas police to open a case and they told her that this case will be a priority for them.

So far, no one can identify the man and so hopefully this video helps the public do so and if not, the police should be able to enlarge the images to get a better description of this sicko. He needs to be taken off the street and put behind bars.

We need to keep the pressure up so that they don’t take their eyes off this case as is so common with animal abuse cases. Please see the link below for the San Juan police so we can flood them with comments.

Please call the San Juan Police at; (956) 223-2400 and reference case # 2404– 02706.

Staff and faculty at Seton Hall University left 76 lab mice unattended for 17 days. By the time they were checked on the overcrowded cages were filled with f***s, and urine along with dead baby mice.

As a result the university says that they had no choice but to euthanize the animals and the unnamed faculty member and staff have only been barred from working with lab animals for a year. Past lab inspections found terrible conditions with things overfilled cages filled with f***l metal and urine and empty water bottles.

Just because these animals aren’t cats or dogs doesn’t mean that they don’t matter or that they shouldn’t be treated with respect and compassion. This was a horrible way to suffer and die and no living creature deserves that.

The university can definitely do better than barring them from working with animals for a year. The University spokesman said that “the school takes the integrity and ethical conduct of research seriously”, but we don’t feel that way. Let them know how you feel. Seton Hall University

This poor little girl that we posted about a few weeks ago had her front legs viciously severed, was dumped in the trash and left to die.

She was brought to a local veterinarian in China where she underwent surgery. They did the best they could with her infected jagged stubs that are supposed to be her legs and as result of this, she is completely shut down with pain, fear, and has mistrust of humans. We are hoping that her stubs won’t open up so we won’t have to consider amputations.

We don’t know who did this to her, and why but we need all the help we can get if she is to have a chance and so please consider donating towards her care:

Her name is Mulan, our fierce warrior.

We will update about her condition as soon as we can.
