We finished this one yesterday. 7x15 Maple Mahogany with a Birdseye Maple Hi Gloss finish. This has rings installed and is an 8 lugger.

I don’t make this size often. 4x14. 6 ply Birch with 7 ply Maple rings. The outer veneer is Tigerwood with a Satin finish. This one made complete by yours truely.

Here is one fresh from the bench. These are all maple shells. 12, 16 and 22. I found a new supplier for wraps. This is some sort of Oyster finish. It is amazing. This little kit is amazing and looking for a home.

This was a fun project. One of my closest friends came to me and said these are the sizes and the rest is up to you. This little jazz kit is a 12, 14, 20. All Maple shells with a custom paintjob over Mappa Burl and yes the inlay on the bass drum hoops are painted. The snare is a Maple Gum shell but Jose did a custom Gold Leaf design in the middle. Needless to say, my friend was very happy.

Again, Jose is amazing as usual. This was made from scrap pieces of wrap material. 6.5x14 8 ply Maple shell on this beauty.

We just put these together to day. These are both 7x13 Nordic Maple Max shells. 100% Maple shells that are 9mm. Both are finished in Alcohol Ink.

I let Jose loose on an Ash shell and he came up with this. Amazing what talented hands can do with scrap pieces of veneer. Made from a 6.5x14 8ply Ash shell.

I got the kit set up in my office. I really love this finish and especially as the inlay on the hoops. This kit is 9x13, 16x16ft and 14x24. This one is looking for a home.

In the booth today. Had to let some paint dry to be able to top coat. Decided to paint these two 7x13 Maple shells in Alcohol Ink. The green one is a standard finish. I went a little nuts in the second one but I think it is cool.
