All in favor?
Losing someone changes us. The pain sculpts us into someone who understands more deeply, hurts more often, appreciates more quickly, cries more easily, hopes more desperately, and loves more openly.
Thanks to all hospice professionals for everything they do!
Every day, we give thanks to the brave men and women who lay down their lives to keep our country safe. We are dedicated to honoring veterans in the most respectful way. We owe them so much.

When a family chooses to not view their loved one and proceed directly to cremation, they must still select a casket. Cremation caskets are simple containers, made from cardboard or wood, designed to be cremated along with your loved one at the time of cremation. Why? The container shelters and protects the deceased during the transfer process from our facilities to the crematorium, and ensures everyone involved - living or deceased - is treated with safety.

There is an old saying: "When a cardinal appears in your yard, it's a visit from a loved one who has passed." Have you seen a cardinal in your yard lately? We hope it brings you some peace knowing your loved ones will always be with you.
How to support the grieving:
- Ask them for stories.
- Send a handwritten note with a special memory or words of encouragement.
- Help them make decisions.
- Don’t talk about the future or try to fix how they’re feeling.
- Anticipate their needs. Don’t wait for them to call and ask for help, because they probably won’t.
- Be consistent – keep showing up even after the initial period of grieving. Not everything will be the right thing to say at the right time, but being present will be a great comfort.
