We had a great time at the SoCal Graduate Pathways to STEM as panelists and we also had the opportunity to deliver a SHPE LA scholarship in-person to Selina Martinez!
The SoCal GPS conference is a one-day event curated by graduate students for underserved undergraduate students to promote a higher education pipeline and pathway toward success in our fields. With our 2024 conference, we hope to continue expanding our reach from years past. We want to exemplify diversity, inclusion, and belonging as pillars that belong and exist within the academic community. Through thoughtful and intentional planning, this yearโs conference planning committee will inspire the next generation of leading innovators and scientists toward advanced degrees that may propel them to academia, industry, government, or even entrepreneurship.
SHPE LA is happy to celebrate and support USC Viterbi's student-led and student-run SoCal Graduate Pathways to STEM Conference on Saturday, March 30, 2024.
Share your professional wisdom with current graduate and undergraduate students, and then join us as we toast all student organizers and participating professionals afterwards!
