โจNext up for Housing Highlights, we are featuring Sunset Village!โจ
Consisting of 3 separate buildings, Canyon Point, Courtside, and Delta Terrace, Sunset Village offers plaza style rooms. Canyon Point and Delta Terrace consist of solely "plaza shared" rooms, wherein two rooms (double or triple) share a bathroom. Courtside, on the other hand, consists of only "plaza private" rooms, where 1 room has one attached en suite bathroom. All 3 buildings are made up of 8 houses and are all semi-connected.
Front desk and mailroom services, as well as classrooms and conference facilities, are located in Covel Commons, which is right next to Sunset Village. Epicuria at Covel, formerly known as the Covel Commons Residential Restaurant, is another dine-in meal option on the Hill. Epicuria at Covel is inspired by the cuisines of Cyprus, France, Greece, Israel, Italy, Lebanon, Spain, Turkey and many other Mediterranean nations, with menus changing seasonally. Additionally adjacent to the ground floor of Delta Terrace is Cafe 1919. Currently only serving specialized desserts, gelato, and ice cream, Cafe 1919 is a hotspot for students.
Finally, next to Sunset Village is the Sunset Canyon Recreation Center, the primary sports complex on the Hill, consisting of tennis courts, swimming pools, basketball courts, and volleyball courts for resident use. Sunset Rec, as students call it, is a great place to go on hot and sunny California days! โ๏ธ๐ป

โจ We are back with another Housing Highlight! โจ
This time, weโre featuring De Neva Plaza ๐ป.
Named after Felipe de Neve, "Founder of Los Angeles", De Neve Court has a mixture of deluxe halls and plaza halls. The court is broken up into smaller buildings, with courtyards and grassy nooks between buildings. These eight buildings are all named after trees : Acacia View, Birch Heights, Cedar Bluff, Dogwood Glen, Evergreen Pass, Fir Grove, Gardenia Way, and Holly Ridge ๐ฒ๐ณ.
Gardenia and Holly are the two deluxe residential halls. The deluxe halls on campus feature the same high-rise feel as the classic buildings and have community bathrooms with 4-6 shower stalls, toilets, and sinks, as well as study lounges on every floor. Unlike the classic residential rooms, deluxe rooms have air conditioning! A communal laundry room is located on the ground floor of each building, and aside from the study lounges, each building also offers large social lounges.
The other six buildings in De Neve are the plaza style rooms. The plaza buildings on-campus offer a mix of rooms with private bathrooms, and bathrooms that are shared by an adjoining room. They also feature study lounges for the individual buildings, community laundry rooms, and have air conditioning! De Neve Commons has front desk services, as well as classrooms and conference facilities. Dining options within the complex include the De Neve Residential Restaurant, serving Great American Cuisine.
