Our Health Scholar program started over 25 years ago, originally known as the Clinical Care Extender program. The program has expanded both in the types of experiential education and training available, as well as in its reach. We are partnered with hospital and medical group sites available across California, Washington, Oregon, and Hawaii.

We provide an unparalleled experiential education course in which everyone from mid-career to college students and grads to high school juniors and seniors can learn whether a career in health care is right for them and then learn how to get there! In addition to the original Health Scholar and Junior Health Scholar programs we now also offer Medical Assistant and Community Health Worker/Care Navigator training and job opportunities, with Certified Nursing Aide coming soon!
