COURTESY CASTING NOTICE (Not a Casa 0101 Project)
Seeking two Los Angeles local strong actors (1 Black male & 1 Asian female - both ages 24 to 30) for a non-union music app promo project. Shooting either 11/20/2024 & 11/21/2024. Pay is $650/day buyout. Submit through Actors Access (Title: OWN YOUR DOT DOT DOT), or email [email protected] with your headshot & resume. Please do not submit to both places. Thank you!
[TUNDE] Black, male, Lean and fit, with a youthful, energetic frame. He’s not bulky but toned enough to look good in fitted clothing. Seeking strong actor. Dresses in a business suit, but that's not who he is. He leaves works and becomes himself by "letting his hair down" and turning on his Music App. He doesn't have to be a dancer, but should be able to groove. Think of deep grooving movement, like having a cathartic release. We all know the pressures and rigor of the 9-5 world; Tunde’s ability to switch from corporate stress to vibes at a 100 should make him highly relatable.
[MEI] Asian, average build, active and able to move energetically. Quirky, edgy, cool, stylish, hip, fashion student with a hectic social life. Tries to pull her apartment together while her friends are on the way. Music App revitalizes her energy to get the job done. Seeking strong actress with ability to groove, jam, dance, but doesn't have to be technically trained. Should feel the music organically and come to life. Mei should be someone the audience instantly connects with—a friend, a roommate, or even themselves. Her spontaneous and fun-loving nature shines through when she turns a stressful situation into a joyful experience with the help of music.
Storyline: Music App helps people own their own moments. Tunde has to code switch between work and daily life. Mei needs motivation to get her placed cleaned up to welcome friends to her apartment. With the music app they let their hair down and motivation up to own their own moments.
