🎉 At the beginning of this year, the Southern Ohio Synod officially launched a new ministry for children and their caregivers: Paraclete Post, a monthly mail subscription service providing a high-quality faith-based picture book, an art print, prompts for faith conversations and suggestions for spiritual activities, and an epistle offering encouragement to parents and caregivers, along with some suggestions for further reading. These monthly “parcels” are offered free of charge to families in the United States! 📦

This is a MINIMUM DAY for ALL AGES.

🌟 Our first “Coffee with the Director” informational session was a hit tonight! 🌟 Huge thanks to Jamie Millan and Elizabeth Chaparyan for joining us and fielding all the questions from our families about their upcoming educational journey into the elementary world! Your insights and expertise made the evening truly informative and engaging. Here’s to more fruitful discussions ahead! ☕️

Our first movie night of the year was an adorable success! Yummy food, Moana, loud kids, loving families, and lots of laughter all made for a great Friday evening. Shout out to our staff Trisha, Emi, Sabryna, Sandra, and Nicole (spoiler alert) for helping out!

🐰 BLS ANNUAL SPRING FUNDRAISER 🐰
is on April 13th from 10AM-12PM. There will be Critter Squad’s petting zoo, photo op with the BLS bunny, jumpers, face painting, and the EGG HUNT IS BACK!!!

Food from IHOP, Western Bagel, and Krispy Kreme plus cotton candy and popcorn - there’ll also be a cereal bar, juice bar, and mimosas to enjoy! Class heartstring projects made by your little ones will be raffled off and will be displayed in the hallway shortly.

Reserve your spot with a $30 presale general ticket (ages 5+) and $10 child’s ticket for ages 2-5. Tickets will be $35 (ages 5+) and $15 (child) at the door. (Tickets are required for guests ages 2 and up.) All proceeds benefit the school in upgrading the big playground with new equipment and play stations.

Get ready to say cheese! Picture day is coming up on Thursday, March 21st and Friday, March 22nd! 📆

Forms will be sent home next week (Tuesday/Wednesday). Please remember that the photographers require the form and payment in advance to capture those precious smiles. 😊

In case you encounter any issues with the pictures, don’t worry! There’s usually a makeup day available, or you can request a refund. We want to ensure you’re happy with your photos! 🔄💰

We’ll confirm which groups will be scheduled for which day next week, so stay tuned for updates! 🗓️

Also, calling all Pre-K parents! Your little ones are eligible to take cap and gown pictures (cue the tears). Please indicate on the forms if you’d like one, the other, or both! 🎓👶
