Vinovore is the first wine shop ever to only carry women winemakers. Firstly, we wanted to support women in business, knowing first hand how tough it can be. Wine is a business, a very male dominated business, so, by choosing to only carry women winemakers, we are supporting many women in business.

Secondly, knowing that women were the number one consumers of wine we noticed that the only way the industry catered to women was with basic, pool-party rosés and tired moms need their fix memes. The wome that we know, that love wine, are smart, talented, strong and independent. We wanted to create a space that catered to them… well, you.

Thanks everyone for supporting us and all of our winemakers. Sometimes things do feel like they’re changing for the better 👆🏽

How many times have we told somebody to f**k off for being homophobic or vandalizing our property? Realizing that this could happen to any one of us at any time is beyond sobering.

We thought, long and hard about posting about this since this kind of tragedy seems too big and real for social media. As many of you know we are a q***r and minority owned small business. We stand with every very brand of human, no matter who they love and what they do as long as they don’t feel or breed hate and violence. This tragedy is beyond us and it’s close to home on many levels. We have met Lauri, know her shops, respected her and she was always beyond lovely.
