Are all toners and cleansers treated equal? No ma'am. Cleansers and toners have come a long way baby. Back in the day when you were a teenager, toners really stripped the skin with alcohol, and soaps were so soapy, causing unnecessary irritation, and left over residue on your face.

A good cleanser and toner is the key to your best skin, in fact the best ones on the market today are like mini-treatments.

Why are they so important? A good cleanser, cleans impurities, plus gives back to you. Think of painting a wall. If you just slap on the paint, it won't settle right or look good. Sanding and priming are necessay to a flawless paint job. Same goes for your face. When your face is properly washed, your products will pe*****te better. A toner will take off remaining impurities, as well as give back to your skin. There are brightening toners, toning-firming, collagen building, exfoliating, hydrating, you name it - it is out there. It is also a good idea to rotate different cleansers and toners throughout the year, as your skin is changing each season.

I just wanted to share some tips and tricks if you are new to Retinol to give you the best results. I am so very excited and proud of my new formulation. Kroh Retinol Cream is results-driven, hydrating and made with the best ingredients, to give your skin amazing results in time. It is also less irritating due to the way it is formulated, and the ingredients are incredibly thoughtful.

What is Retinol?—It is essentially a derivative of Vitamin A, which is one of the body's key nutrients for boosting cell turnover. It promotes skin renewal, brightens skin tone, reduces acne, and boosts collagen production, and helps with fine lines and wrinkles, as well as age spots. Your anti-aging QUEEN! A gold-standard in skincare.

1. Start slow. 1-3 times a week in the P.M. if this is new to you. Gradually work up to every night or every other night once your skin is acclimated. If you aren’t experiencing any redness or flakiness, you can bump it up to every other day— and then even every day if your skin can handle it.

2. Make sure you are wearing SPF EVERY day, yes - even on cloudy days. Get into good habits. If you are going on a sun-filled vacay holiday, you might even want to cut it out of your routine until you return. Make sure to always have a hat with you, especially during summers and outdoor activities. I keep a few in my truck of my car for last minute adventures.

3. With retinol, a little goes a long way, be mindful of how much you are applying. More is not better.

4. Mix it up. A helpful tip to help your skin adjust to retinol is to mix your retinol with your face moisturizer and then apply it to your skin. It will be even more gentle starting out. Or if you apply a serum or moisturiser first, it will act as a light barrier.

5. Are you getting dry or flakey? In your first few weeks this is normal. As your skin acclimates to retinol, you will notice the redness and flakiness decrease. This is a good indication you can add more nights into your routine.

6. Give it time. Retinol is not an overnight solution to your skin concerns. Retinol and other skin products, generally take 12 weeks to see results. You will get beautiful results over time. Keep going!

7. When applying retinol, don't neglect your neck and décolletage. These are areas notorious for showing the signs of aging, yet often overlooked. I also apply any left overs to my hands.

8. K R O H Retinol Cream is formulated to be gentle, yet effective. The above suggestions will give you the best results if followed.

9. Start in your mid-20's or 30's. Many women are starting before then, motivated by early signs of aging. Your lifestyle, sunscreen usage, and sun expose play a big factor into when you feel you are ready to introduce this powerhouse ingredient into your routine.

10. Don't worry, If you cannot tolerate retinol. There are plenty of amazing anti-aging ingredients, that work for clients with very sensitive skin or are pregnant. Ask me!!!

Tips and tricks for Easing into a P.M. K R O H Retinol Routine Click here for an update from Kroh Beauty!

Hi Guys! Just wanted to answer a question I get asked on the daily.

"How long will my Lash Lift and Brow Lamination Last?"

A very good question, and honestly the results vary, depending on many factors. My lifts generally last 6-12 weeks, sometimes shorter, sometimes longer. Brow Lamination tends to last a shorter duration, maximum 6 weeks. It is really in the first 24 hours that you can make or break your services. Here is a quick check list to get the most out of your Lash Lift and Brow Lamination.

1. No water, steam, hot pilates, or sweaty Peloton for 24 hours. Are you a surfer or swimmer? If so, your services will not last as long due to chlorine and salt.

2. No mascara or eye or brow makeup for 24 hours. No waterproof mascara for the entire time you have your lift.

3. Make sure your cleanser and make-up remover are oil free. Certain oils will pull your lift/lamination out faster.

4. Try to sleep on your back, at least the first 24 hours.

5. Aftercare is super important! If you follow my aftercare, you will get the most out of your services.

6. Elleeplex Aftercare and Grande Lash are going to be your best friends.

7. Brow Laminations last a shorter time due to the oils in our face.

8. You can use any mascara after 24 hours, as long it is not waterproof. I sell a fabulous mascara that is made for the lift. It has all the good stuff to keep your lift going!

9. Your first Lift and Lamination, we are figuring out your lashes and brows, & curl size you like. We can always go tighter or looser your next service, so let me know your preference. And please, if you want to make changes in the first 24 hours, let me know! I am always here to ensure you are getting exactly what you want.
