When we won , qualifier, we knew it was going to be hard traveling to Dallas and to compete with the best teams and players in the US!

What we never expected, was to be placed in the named the GROUP OF DEATH!

Today, we are back in town with great memories knowing that our players competed against the National Champion and vs the Gold Champion as well as beating last year National second place.

Yes, our players did great, and we are very happy about it. We know that to develop you have to play against the best, as that is the only way to know where you are and what you need to work.

We live in a city where we need to increase the population that believes and trust in the process. We will try to modify the culture that thinks that clubs are the owners of the player, or that having 5 clubs are NOT too many, or even worse where parents or coaches don't believe in sharing players or philosophies like we have been doing.

We insist we are a club not made for everyone, we are a club that charges less, but will demand hard work or to travel more. We do not do tryouts but we are available 24/7/365 to get in and get out.

We will promote kids to better opportunities even if they are our next door neighbor.

We are rebranding to be capable of getting better "stuff" for our kids, our main objective.

PREMIER SUPERCOPA 2021

We are constantly training to be better people and better coaches for our children. Many believe that it is luck, many believe that it is magic, but in reality it is hard and constant work not only of the players but is also from the coaches.

Today, we had the fortune to receive a coaching session from Fabrizio Hayer, former player and now coach of Mainz 05, where he told us how to train and develop individuals to move up to be high-level players.

Today our player session was guided by our UEFA International Coaches Markus and Robin. While they still coach in GERMANY, we have the luxury to have them supporting our club 24/7. Today, coaches had a great lecture from MAINZ05 Chief Scout Paul Fass. What does a player needs and how they need to be develop and have a chance to be recruited?

As you can see we continue working in coordination with Bundesliga professional teams to get our players ready for high level competition. Thank you Markus Becker for making this possible.

During this tryout season we wanted to remind you since our founding we have been and continue to be dedicated to the development of our players. This development plan includes open pathways to better opportunities inside our city as well as outside for your young athlete. All soccer clubs will talk about how they put players first, but then prohibit opportunities within our own city or within the same playing season. At our club we proud to say we are open to new player opportunity at anytime. If, at anytime parents or players feel they are not getting the soccer experience they want from their current club or level, we have open spots.

Also, if our players have been offered an opportunity to improve their soccer experience, we will work with the player to find the best soccer opportunity available for them and their family regardless of location. We are proud of the training and opportunities we offer. Our club leaders are constantly working extensively with coaches in Europe and across North America to make connections and learn successful strategies in those locations and bringing them here to Kentucky. Our teams have been coached by staff with professional programs in USA, Mexican and German first divisions. In addition, during the 2020-2021 season have played against the top teams across America at Dallas Cup and Premier SuperCopa. Finally, select Individuals have participated in growth programs with FC Cincinnati, US soccer Olympic Development Program, MLS NXT Louisville as well as Louisville City FC this calendar year.

In here we have some days that you can check what we do, but if those days you are not available, let us know and we will do arrangements for any other days.

AGES: 2008 - 2014

Friday at 5:00PM we will have our 4th coaches meeting/training with Mainz05 scouts/coaches.

Saturday at 10:00 AM our players will continue with their weekly guidance/training with Mainz05 coaches.

Coaches from other clubs are welcome to join and learn from Mainz 05 coaches. Jump in and check what we are doing to support our soccer community. We believe that the more we learn as coaches, the better guidance we are able to provide to our kids. By consequence we will raise the level of game of our soccer community. We are so blessed to have our SOCCER MOMS supporting us in the good ones and in the bad ones. We know raising is not easy, so we are so thankful for all the unconditional love and patience. WE may not win all the time, but we do win having the best moms in the soccer world. Yesterday we celebrated after every single game!

We are very proud of our efforts to create a program to help our players get training, techniques, “tips”, help and guidance on to how to get better in what they love to do. We are particularly proud of our efforts to work with other UEFA soccer coaches around the world to create the most opportunity for our players to grow and improve their cognitive aspect. Soccer is an international game and as such, we strive to bring the world of soccer to our families.

Last Friday our coaches had a meeting/discussion with Coach Robin to learn about scouting players and player development. Last night the kids had an IMPRESSIVE training session. Thank you Mainz05, SCHAECHTER SPORTS and special thanks to Coach Robin.

Today we want to highlight our best partnership that guides, helps, support and maximize our player’s growth, SCHACHTER SPORTS (https://www.schaechter-sports.com/en/global-partners/international/louisville). One thing that should be evident is that at Chivas we believe in the internationalization of a young person’s soccer training. The culmination of this effort has seen Chivas Louisville players receive guidance/evaluations from international club coaches/scouts that were observing today’s full practice.

Our commitment to internationalization does start at home. While we are a proud member of the US Soccer organization, we abide by all federation rules and guidelines and all of our coaches receive US Soccer training as we are well equipped to teach the best models coming from US Soccer, but added to that, we have a diverse international staff and this diversity extends to our partnership with Schachter sports whom bring continental many European voices to our curriculum.

Today, Mainz 05 started helping us directly. Today we started with the scouting event where all the kids were evaluated and tomorrow coaches will receive a scouting webinar as the kickoff of PLAYER/CLUB developmental program.

Javanon FC

Javanon is proud to announce an exciting venture, as we pilot a partnership with Chivas Louisville-Guadalajara Club of Kentucky, Mockingbird Valley Premier and United 96 FC. Together the clubs are building strategic plans to set aside personal agendas and are preparing to sacrifice their own resources and finances to pilot a program that will allow top level soccer players the opportunity to train together, with aims to then compete together in national platforms. The long-term logistics and timing of the pilot program are still being discussed, but the goal is to begin the pilot rollout this winter.

We are very happy to announce Chivas new partnership with MVP, Javanon and United.

Together we will do great things for our players and for the soccer community.

As for Chivas this marks a big step forward and a sign that we are growing in the right direction.

Congratulations to 2020 USYF Ohio Futsal State CHAMPIONS Chivas KY 2008!

Chivas were invited to participate in this past weekend’s United States Youth Futsal State Championships in Columbus Ohio. Our u13 2008 group capped an amazing 2020 soccer season by defeating teams from Ohio and Chicago who rostered Academy players from MLS programs to capture the title.

Congratulations to players Jacobi Hinkle, Dylan Ehret, Dylan Lopez, Denilson Moguel, Cruze Nockerts, Alex Popa and Alex Bautista and Head Coach David O’Connell.

This group of players have worked hard with their coaches to develop their abilities and tactics. They are wonderful examples of what Chivas strives for as a program. They play with amazing skill and athleticism but most importantly with the passion for soccer we love to see. Many of these players were founding members of Chivas Louisville and have been leaders in the development of the club.
