This says everything about what this generational, once in a lifetime horse means to me. He is special beyond words to describe. He will live out his life in luxury. Of course, I will remember the big wins, close calls, roses etc. But the little things are just as special such as when I step into the barn and say “hey big boy” he nickers, turns around and pushes to his stall front to greet me. Tank is on his second day of retirement and is quickly discovering just how much he loves having both a stall and a field to run in!

Tonight is the night everyone! After Class 232 at the Kentucky State Fair World's Championship Horse Show, Scott Hagan will be presenting WGC CH HS Daydream's Heads Up for the final time in the show ring! You won't want to miss the Retirement Ceremony of Scott's "Once in a Lifetime Horse"! It will be one to remember!

Immediately following the show, there will be a Retirement Celebration at Lead Way Farm, Barn K. Food and drinks will be catered by Levy's Restaurant and etched Heads Up tumblers will be given to the first 100 party guests!

We look forward to seeing you all tonight!

And rounding out our Friday evening at the 2024 Kentucky State Fair - World's Championships Horse Show were WCC Hawker 850 and Scott Hagan, whip, winners of the Amateur Gentleman's Roadster to Bike Championship! Hawker has a need for speed and he showed us all in the ring last night!

It was a very exciting Friday night for Hagan Saddlebreds and DeVore Stables at the 2024 Kentucky State Fair - World's Championships Horse Show! Smoke Stack and Scott Hagan, up, were the unanimous winners in the Roadster Under Saddle Championship! This is the second year that Smoke and Scott have earned this unanimous win - the first being 2022.

Congratulations to RWC Stolen Heir ("Charlie") and Scott Hagan, up, Reserve winners in the Amateur Gentleman's Five Gaited division at the Kentucky State Fair World's Championship Horse Show!

Charlie is a very special 10-year-old gelding by Heir Emerald and out of Worth Steeling. He began his Five-Gaited show career in 2016 at the Kentucky State Fair World's Championship Horse Show. He was the Reserve winner in the Two-Year-Old Five Gaited division with Pieter Snyman, up, and has been competing steadily in the Five-Gaited division ever since.

Earlier this year, Charlie earned his blue ribbons in the Amateur Five Gaited and Amateur/Junior Exhibitor Five-Gaited Stake with Scott Hagan, up, at the Shelby County Dogwood Classic, the Five-Gaited Championship with Andre van Schalkwyk, up, at the KASPHA May Classic, and the Amateur Gentleman's Five-Gaited division with Scott Hagan, up, at the Midwest Charity Horse Show.

Hagan Saddlebreds is thrilled to announce that HS A Dream Girl Centerfold ("Chloe") and Andre van Schalkwyk, whip, earned the blue ribbon in the WCHS Futurity - Three-Year-Old Fine Harness division at the Kentucky State Fair - World's Championships Horse Show!

Chloe is by the number one rated sire, Undulata's Nutcracker and out of 2022 Broodmare Hall of Fame inductee, HS Daydream's Dream Girl.

Our beautiful Chloe made her show debut this year at the Midwest Charity Horse Show with Andre van Schalkwyk, and was the unanimous winner in the Three-Year-Old Fine Harness division! To quote one of Chloe's followers, "It should be illegal to move that way!"

Hawker has been with Hagan Saddlebreds since 2021, and he has shown us nothing but speed and athleticism!

Scott says, "Andre has done so well with this horse and he is in perfect shape. He's a tough one to hold but he's a really nice horse. Working around him is a pleasure and he's completely bullet proof in every way."

Keeping the winning streak alive for 3 years in a row and counting in this class are Smoke Stack and Scott Hagan, up, winners of the Open Roadster Under Saddle division at the Kentucky State Fair - World's Championships Horse Show!

Smoke is a Dutch harness horse on his top side and a hackney horse on his bottom side and is by Dondersteen out of Soline.

Scott describes Smoke as, "The coolest horse I own with the exception of Heads Up", and we can see why! He is a gorgeous, black locomotive of a horse!
