Our annual community fall festival is underway! We've got a soccer clinic for the kids (7-8 yr olds starts at 3, 9-12 yr olds starts at 4), bouncy house, sno cones, popcorn, and face painting!

This Friday we will be having a Good Friday service at 6:30pm. This will be a shorter service filled with Scripture readings, prayer, and music, all leading up to our Sunday morning Easter celebration at 10:30am where we’ll celebrate our risen Savior together!

All are welcome! Whether you worship with us regularly or you’ve never been to church before, we would love for you to join us.

Antioch ladies, tonight from 7-9 we will have a bonfire and a smore's bar! Coffee, hot chocolate, and Apple Cider. Saturday morning we will gather together at Antioch from 9am-12. We have the pleasure of hearing Diane Schreiner share about her experience in ministering to women of every generation. Afterwards we will gather in groups to discuss questions and pray together. We hope to see you there!

At Antioch we define the biblical office of deacon as a man or woman who is a lead servant in a ministry of the church. That includes five overarching elements:

1) They serve as people who are devoted and reliable
2) They administer by carrying out the vision of the pastors
3) They empower by mobilizing other members to serve
4) They mediate by keeping the peace
5) They advocate by representing the needs of their ministry

Deacons must be qualified according to 1 Timothy 3:8-13:

8 Deacons likewise must be dignified, not double-tongued, not addicted to much wine, not greedy for dishonest gain. 9 They must hold the mystery of the faith with a clear conscience. 10 And let them also be tested first; then let them serve as deacons if they prove themselves blameless. 11 Their women likewise must be dignified, not slanderers, but sober-minded, faithful in all things. 12 Let deacons each be the husband of one wife, managing their children and their own households well. 13 For those who serve well as deacons gain a good standing for themselves and also great confidence in the faith that is in Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 3:8-13
