Sandy Wisdom-Martin was quoted in the Great Commission Task Force Report on June 11 during the SBC evening session. This is a great reminder of the importance of making disciples of Jesus who live on mission. We are grateful for missions leaders who keep the Great Commission at the forefront of their church.

Were you one of the lucky 20% ? Let us know below.

It is so disheartening to hear so many Christians believe that salvation, followed by church attendance, is the extent of the Christian life.

We are called to a life with Christ where we will be lifelong learners, teachers, and evangelists.

Will you commit to the 1000 discipler challenge with us?

Friends, Kentucky WMU is venturing out! We have developed an opportunity to GO on mission with Kentucky WMU. This year, we are taking our first step to take a team of young women to work with teen girls in the South Bronx with Graffiti2. We've been invited to host a mini-Thrive: Teen Girls Retreat and to help with community ministries Nov. 22-27. We are looking for two more young women to go! If you know of a college/career-aged woman who might be interested, please let me know. If she has worship leadership experience...even better! COST: $550

“How do I teach the children in my church about the Cooperative Program?” Why, with craft sticks and a houseboat, of course! This summer, join churches and groups from across our denomination and help children at your church understand how Southern Baptist churches participate in the Cooperative Program by creating craft stick units that will become part of a larger houseboat.

Our goal is to have 47,000 craft stick units that make up the floating houseboat—one to represent each church in the Southern Baptist Convention!
