Congratulations to Lawson Cantley ’24 on his record breaking career! Lawson is the new all-time career points leader in Kentucky boys lacrosse history, finishing his career with 397 points on 281 goals and 116 assists. 🥍

Congratulations to Lawson Cantley ’24 who ended his senior season setting new school records for both Single Season Goals and Points! He also finished as the program’s career leader in Goals (281), Assists (115), and Points (396). We’re so proud of you Lawson! 🥍

2024 STATE CHAMPIONS! 💙🥍🏆💛 Your Bearcats are unstoppable! They brought home the KSLL high school girls state championship title with a score of 13-4 in the final match up against Eastern. We are so proud of this team for their determination, hard work, and grit which has been on display all season long. Big congrats to Coach McAnulty on his 10th State Championship! GO BEARCATS!

Congratulations to the Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team on being Region 4 Champions. They won 18-1 over South Oldham.
Wynn Evans, Dylan Yonover, Leighton Spears (MVP) and Kennedy Harcourt were the All Region Team selections.

KCD Varsity Boys Lacrosse defeated Eastern 16-11 to capture the Region 3 Championship. Congratulations Bearcats!

Congratulations to athlete Sekayi Charasika ’24 who scored 10 goals—breaking the all-time scoring record for goals in a game—as the Bearcats defeated Collegiate 20 to 6 earlier this week. Way to go, Sekayi!

Congratulations to Athletic Director, James Booker, on being recognized by the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA) as a Certified Athletic Administrator!

Congratulations to our 5/6 girls lacrosse team on defeating CAL 7-5 to win the MS Championship! Way to go Bearcats! 💙🥍💛

This afternoon we honored our class of 2024 college-bound Bearcats at our end-of-year athletic signing ceremony. We are so proud of all that these athletes have accomplished in their careers at KCD, and cannot wait to see what they achieve at the next level. GO BEARCATS!
