The annual Atlas Golf Scramble was held this past weekend! Employees, family members, friends, and vendors enjoyed a beautiful day of golf at the Crossings Golf Club in Brooks, KY. Big thank you to all the volunteers who helped to make it happen!

Two of our IPG branches took a much-deserved break from the office and spent time together at a team outing! Our Evansville team spent the day watching horse racing at Ellis Park, and our Cincinnati team attended a Reds game! At Atlas Machine & Supply, we believe that strong teams make for a strong company. Nick has completed four years of training and is now a state-certified Journeyman Machinist within our Steel Services Department. Luke and Tucker both completed Atlas' two-year training program for Field Machinists. We are extremely proud of these young men and their hard work and dedication.

Co-workers and friends gathered to honor Mark Lucas, a recent retiree with nearly 30 years at Atlas, during a weekend barbecue and s***t shooting event in Meade County. Rich and Richie Gimmel surprised Mark with a 12-gauge Browning shotgun—a fitting retirement gift!

We’re thrilled to welcome three recent high school grads from Breckinridge and Meade County to our esteemed Apprenticeship Program at Atlas Machine and Supply! 🎉 Congratulations to Alexander Robbins (Breckinridge County High), Drake Shacklette (Meade County High), and Hunter Pringle (Meade County High)!

Starting in August, they'll begin a four-year journey, earning a salary and gaining valuable skills. Upon completion, they'll receive a state-recognized KMA Certification.

We're rounding out National Welding Month by honoring Mark Lucas! Mark Lucas, a seasoned welder with nearly 30 years of experience at Atlas, retired from his job on April 25th. During his long tenure with the company, Mark has been part of a multitude of changes.

Initially, Mark worked at Atlas’ old Jefferson Street location in downtown Louisville. Later, in 1999, he made the transition to our current, much larger facility in the Jefferson Riverport industrial park. With this move, Mark became an integral part of the expanded welding services that define the company today.
