Jay Bilas, an Emmy-nominated college basketball analyst for ESPN, a leadership expert, and the author of the New York Times bestseller "Toughness: Developing True Strength On and Off the Court," will deliver the 2024 Wyatt Lecture at Bellarmine University on Friday, September 6, in Bellarmine’s Frazier Hall. Scholarship estimates: Any senior can get an estimated scholarship before they apply by answering a few questions.

Direct Admission: Thanks to our partnership with JCPS and the Archdiocese of Louisville, local students with at least a 2.75 GPA receive direct admission to Bellarmine.

Join us in congratulating Bellarmine University Nursing student Sierra Osterling, who has been awarded a scholarship from the Kentuckiana Cancer Research Foundation (KCRF) as part of its first annual scholarship program.

Four scholarships were granted to Kentucky and Indiana residents pursuing careers in cancer-related fields. Sierra intends to pursue a career in Pediatric Oncology after graduating in May 2026.

Former Bellarmine Men's Basketball big man Dzaflo Larkai is an assistant coach for the South Sudan men’s national team during the Olympic Games in Paris. The “Bright Stars” will compete against Team USA tomorrow at 3 p.m. ET.

"Being on the South Sudan staff is a major accomplishment in my basketball career. Sometimes, when you're done as a player, you think your achievements in basketball are over. I'm blessed to be in a position that I can still achieve and be part of an amazing basketball delegation."

PT, Norton partner on nation's first neurologic fellowship Trowell views his visits as “a fair exchange.” He receives care that improves his quality of life, and the students get hands-on experience that will make them better physical therapists—and may help them decide on their area of specialty.

These programs are designed to help students form connections on campus before the Week of Welcome. During these programs, students will have the opportunity to explore what it means to be a first-generation student, a student of color, or a student who utilizes academic accommodations at BU.
